Hi all!, I'm Jose Joaquin (JJ),(I'm from Spain , and I'm 16 years old) some of you know me because I participated in the "Hayley Online chat" yesterday; I said that from now I will be posting in "Hayley Westenra International", and here I am . My story is: when I was 14 years old I didn't know anything about Hayley Westenra because in Spain is not very known, but then I bought a wii game called "Endless Ocean", before that I had been watching magazines that spoke of the soundtrack of the game, saying that it was perfect and it was sung by "Hayley Westenra", to give it a try, I bought the game, and when playing it I realised that I was beginning to take interest in her music, and since then, is my favorite singer, and I have some of his records, also the Japanese ones, which are very gorgeous. I conclude by saying that I really like the forum, you are all doing a good job and I hope to exchange views on Hayley Westenra and other issues with you all, that's always fun. Bye!

Hi Jose and welcome to the forum from Central England - I think there are many of Hayley's fans who discovered her through "Endless Ocean" and I'm very glad that you've found us. We're a friendly bunch so if you have any problems finding your way around (masses of info and pictures here) just ask and someone will help you.
You've obviously done some research already as I see you have some of Hayley's Japanese albums and these are not always the easiest to find.
I hope you enjoy your time with us and I look forward to your future posts.
Best wishes Grant

Hola, José!
Welcome to this amazing place. You joined us in a special day! It is so nice to have another Spanish member in the forum. Till now, I was the only one (at least the only active one). And, it is also nice that you are so young, even younger than me, since there are not much young people interested in Hayley's genre. I am from Barcelona, that's quite far away from Petrer, Alicante. But I had the chance to visit Alicante several times, participating in the Semana Náutica (Sailing Week) in 2004, 2005 and 2006.
And, yes it is true that Hayley is rather unknown here, in our country, but I hope it can change. She deserves to be known as she is one of the most amazing people I've ever known and has the prettiest voice I've heard. So don't hesiitate and spread the word to your friends and I am sure you'll find people who will appreciate the talent and beaty of Hayley's music.
Enjoy your time here!
Michal

Ok, thank you grant and michal, you are all very friendly, thank you ; and yes, grant I have done some research, I love japanese culture and language so I found "easy" (with help of google translate ) to understand and find japanese websites so I found out that Hayley was releasing a japanese cd and I bought it from amazon marketplace, from a japanese shop (music japan) , very good, I also have the japanese edition of "Winter Magic"; and I also look forward to your posts grant, and from post of everyone. Regarding michal, I agree with you, there are not much young people interested in Hayley's genre, none of my friends knew Hayley but I am introducing them to her music and to other genres, like japanese traditional music; and I also hope that this situation can change, people here know better "Sarah Brightman" or "Andrea Bocceli", and so on. But Hayley has also the same talent as them. Thank you all for the welcome. All the best Jose Joaquin

Hello Jose It's really interesting your history about hayley, mine was this: I was watching the contest "Britain Got Talent" and i saw a video of Susan Boyle, after that one fan of Hayley posted a video comparing Hayley and Susan (youtube) and i was really stunned with the voice of Hayley then I started to follow her on the web. Welcome to the forum, I'm sure you'll enjoy your time here Best wishes Carlos

Hi Jose,
Nice to see that you did as you said you would in our chat yesterday and joined the forum. I enjoyed our chat, and it is lovely to see you here. Welcome.
Today, Hayley's birthday, I only allow myself to play her music, nobody else's, and have played both of those stunning Japanese Songs albums, my personal favourites. But she has recorded lots of other music too, over a recording career that is now more than 10 years. There are some here, like Grant who you have "met", who specialise in collecting Hayley's CDs and he tells us he has well over a hundred different ones. There is lots of wonderful Hayley music out there.
In Spain though, you will probably have to import everything. Also, her "International" albums tend to have different track listing depending on which country you buy them in, so you need to do a bit of research. I look forward to reading your future posts here.
Oh, and did you know you can also follow Hayley on Twitter!

Thanks everyone, another time , it's a great warm welcome, thanks. Regarding your story, Carlos, I have to say that something like this happened to me when I was seeing the Hayley's english adaptation of the song "Nada SouSou", after seeing the video a fan had posted the japanese original song, sung by "Rimi Natsukawa" and so I discovered that singer . And Martin, I know that Hayley has an account in twitter, I follow her on it , but thanks for telling me. And I agree with you, there is lots of wonderful Hayley music out there, I only have 5 cd's of hayley westenra XD. And I also look forward to reading your future posts, you all are very aware of everything related to Hayley and her music, and also of other issues. Jose Joaquin
