Yes, Dave, you are right... So,DVD and other comercially available videos are discouraged, but still allowed without posting any links to not authorized copies... Afterall, they keep being available for everyone to see them, it's just not for free, XD.
Dave or any other moderator... could you delete the url tags from my Celtic Woman options for now? I am late to edit that post... And I will think carefully if I should include them in the poll.

Don't forget you can include the stuff from Hayley's one and only live album too! (In case you are wondering, iTunes Live, July 2008) I go along with the majority of the very good choices above, but wuld add Amigos Para Siempre from Dartford on 20yh Feb last year. Hi all hey............ok like I cant remember spelling now until I get home tonight hey so I can get the spelling of some of the songs hey from Hayleys DVD...but Wuthering heights is one of my favourites off there hey and also Both sides now hey......ok but of coarse my all time fav ever is theres a sparkle in your eyes where she sings with Helmut Lotti hey .....omg that makes me go all fuzzy hey..thats on helmets crooners album......and Hayley just knows how to deliver her performance so much hey..wow.....ummmm but on her DVD theres a song.....cant remember how to spell it BB, where Hayley dosent sing any words just using notes and that hey and that is soooo awesome .....ok so I got one more hey....geeeee this is hard hey because ive been listening to every song that u guys have been posting hey and ive got a whole heap of new favs now hey  ....geee im hopeless hey..  ..wasted half a day yesterday just listening to the ones you guys posted hey ::)TRIED to pull myself away honest hey  ...but yeh that video clip on the wings of time which is on the top of the list when u click on the LINK THAT Martin posted hey its sung in English and Maori........really rocked my socks hey ....and I didn’t even have socks on so yeh ,ive only played it about 20 times hey  ,,,,,so ill make that my last choice.....geee only five favs....THIS IS HAYLEY where talking about hey......who can only have five ......i might have to post twice......if I signed off as mountain girl hey would that count  Sandy xxx |

One of my favourites is the opening song Hayley sung at each of the Wineries in the tour of NZ in Feb 2008. It is because it is my favourite song that Hayley has written herself. Jono, I personally like the performance of Santa Lucia from the Variety Club Awards better. If there's a consense, about which one is prefered, I will put only that one, but if there are people for both options, I will put both of them. Hey Michal, I like the one I chose better than that one, but I do like them both. I don't think there's much point including both in the poll, so which recording do other people prefer? I guess the problem with my choice is the huge introduction to the song.. The opening song at the concert in Black Barn this year was "Prayer"....and it sounded amazing! Too bad there aren't any recordings of that one.  |

Hi everyone once again. Sandy, yes, as you realized ,There's a Sparkle in your eyes is not live, so it wouldn't be right to include it in this poll: I agree though, it's such an awesome song, it's one of my favorite duos by Hayley, together with Last Rose of Summer with Méav and It's Only Christmas with Ronan Keating... Abot the other suggestions, they are acceptable, but they have the problematic about being on DVD, as Dave pointed out, so, if there's a good alternative, it should be better. Also, I think it will be easier if we don't include two performances of the same songs when there's a clear consense that one is better than the other. It will already be a very big and hard to decide poll, so it's encouraged to post different performances of the same song, only when it's unclear which one is better. For both the DVD-related and the better performances reasons, if you, Sandy, and everyones agrees on that, I'll include the following alternatives for your propositions: - For Both Sides Now, I already suggested the version with Fiona Pears, I think it is just a briliant performance. - For Wuthering Heights, I suggest this great performance, I think even slightly better and more powerful than the one from the DVD: Wuthering Heights - With pianist Jon Lord- Bur I agree on Bachianas Brasileiras, it was truly magical and deserves to be in the poll even when we can't provide the link to it. If anyone disagrees with my criteria, of course, say it and I will gladly include the alternative you choose too. And, Libby, of course, there's nothing wrong on having the same choice as somebody else. It's just it isn't the poll yet, what I supposed to do is to let everyone suggest the performances that should be included in the poll, choosing the options by myself wouldn't be representative at all. I will add the poll to this thread on 27th of this month with the all options suggested (or a selection, if it proves to be really too much options for a reasonable poll, but I'll try to avoid this). Then, when the poll is open, you'll vote for your faovrite options. Michal |

Yes, Jono, I know, lol... I don't know how many votes will be available for every user, it will depend on how much the poll growus yet (gee, I hope not too much, lol, it will be scary). But my idea is to give 4, 5 or even 6 votes if needed.
