I have listened to Philipa's songs a few times. i have really enjoyed them.. when the broadband / plays the whole song..lovely voice Maybe she could get a deal with Earthquake to release a Demo / Promo / Limited edition signed album. I am sure most of the members here would be prepared to fork out a few quid for it ... I certainly would.. as for the name "Lusty" may come up in odd places on a search engine... but any publicity is good publicity.. but it may put of a certain type of "respectable" buyer/ searcher. I really hope she releases an album that is easily available

I was also at the conbcert on Saturday.
Pippa has always excelled in performance, oodles of talent and stage presence. Ben was less inspiring than I hoped but I guess it's hard to sing with a healing broken bone.
Ben's voice has elevated since G4 and it seems harder for him to sing crossover than before
I would like to hear Ben sing live again, and I wish him a speedy recovery.
I loved Jake and am hoping to see more of him.
A great concert all round in a new venue with good crisp ascoutics, but it was a bit too warm

I have been listening to and supporting Pippa for a couple of years now. She has been most kind in her replies to me. She has a wonderful vocal quality very much like Hayley in some ways. I am so pleased at her success and hope at some point to be able to attend one of her performances some day. Congrats to her on an amazing night. I know there will be many more. Might be lovely to see and hear a Pippa/Hayley duet at some point. Wow.....

Phillippa now has a profile on classical-crossover.co.uk. She lacks a video, but she sadly doesn't have any available. Will be put up as soon as there is one. x

I was lucky enough to have been able to attend the concert on Saturday. Phillippa sounds so much better live than on recordings. I agree, and have said so in the past,i that Phillippa reminds me very much of Hayley in so much that she sings so clearly is and pitch perfect. But more than that, having had the chance to speak to her before and after the show, she is so down to earth, friendly and likeable. She truly is a class above the rest and i have no doubt she will go very far and be a huge success in the very near future.

Wow- I am blown away by her. She is just what the genre needs- a singer with a heavenly voice who writes wonderful songs. I have been back to her Myspace page several times to listen to her music. It is so nice to hear new songs, and she sings them so beautifully too. Hopefully great things are ahead for her.

Just had to post this. Phillippa Lusty recently posted this on face book, Sandy reposted it in support, it really puts a different shade on things and is quite true in many respects. Phillippa Lusty COMMENTED....Two planes landed in England today...One brought back a group of overpaid, underachieving footballers. The other brought back seven coffins, each with the Union Jack draped over them. Footballers play for our country, soldiers FIGHT for our country. Footballers give ninety minutes, ...soldiers give their lives.......I know who I respect more. R.I.P. Our Boys. just for thought no bad intentions or ill feelings toward any foot ballers. Love Mel xxx

Yes, I saw that too I highly agree, but I'm afraid to dampen your spirits and say Pip didn't write it, there have been quite a few people posting that as their status before she did

Here is more information on the concert she is doing in September: www.classical-crossover.co.uk/blog/1-lat...news/265-cavern.htmlI would really really appreciate if people took a chance and went. I really can't stress enough how good Pip is live. I promise she is Hayley standard. And just look at the beautiful venue. I feel like I've got the UK's best kept secret or something! Thomas Spencer-Wortley will be there, too. He's a really funny guy on stage, but he has such a beautiful voice in tone and warmth. His voice is more theatre than operatic.
