Just noticed that Celtic Woman recorded a new album, and they are promoting it in their webpage: www.celticwoman.com/
They say it's gonna be realeased to public the 26th of January. As happened with their previous albums, it is in both CD and DVD format, with the latter being recorded in the Powerscourt House and Gardens.
The DVD tracklisting (wiith the CD lacking several songs):
The Call
Fields of Gold
When You Believe
The Coast of Galiçia
The New Ground
Isle of Hope, Isle of Tears
Non C’è Più
True Colours
Galway Bay
Goodnight My Angel
O, America!
Níl Sé’n Lá
The Last Rose Fantasia
The Moon's a Harsh Mistress
My Lagan Love
Amazing Grace
Pie Jesu
Slumber My Darling
The Mason's Apron
Danny Boy
You Raise Me Up
Finale/Mo Ghile Mear
There are some videos from the DVD in their official youtube site, but there are way more in the emimusic youtube channel (dunno, maybe even they posted the whole DVD there... though that would be stupid, before its release).
I must say that, although quite loving the group itself, and not only for introducing me to Hayley, .I am a little disappointed by them. Actually, been disappointed before, concretely about their post-"New Journey" work.
In the first DVD, they were new, yet it was great... In their Christmas one, they already sounded beyond amazing, and in "A New Journey", with Hayley, they reached a really memorable level, just a perfect sound and feeling in every single minute of the show. The five original singers were just great by themselves, but the spirit that developed between them was making them sound together just in a heavenly way, and surprisingly, Hayley got to share that spirit so easily with them!
The Greatest Journey seemed quite a compilation with their songs, and so it sounded a lot like the previous ones, but you could notice the lack of Hayley in some songs. But for me, it was after Méav and Órla left the group that they lost a lot. Méav was, in my opinion the best, she had the highest level of classical technique and a really amazing voice (the "We'll find a new way of living" from Somewhere are the most perfect sounding and beautifully sung high notes I've ever heard). örla was such an important part of the group too, the only one in the group who had an alto range, and also she was the more traditional part of the group,... The replacements, Lynn and Alex, are very good singers, and they sound really fine alone, but they are no match for the original ones. Also, when singing together, tthere's not that special connection between the group, and for me that's the biggest loose. At least that's my opinion after seeing few videos by them.
And, well, about the new album... it also disappointed me, with no aongs with completely Irish lyrics and quite few having Irish origins (no Clannad or Enya covers anymore!), I have the sensation that they lost a little bit its roots, and that this album is more oriented to success in the american market, and the fact they are touring only in the USA seems to confrim this. But, oh, well, even after being so critic, I muist say they are Celtic Woman afterall, and they sound great, worth having a lookk at them.

Edit: Ok, I am glad to say that I was wrong about saying no Clannad covers were done in this album. After some research, found out that Níl Sé'n Lá is from Clannad's very first album. Great song, by the way: www.youtube.com/watch?v=kPaT-o4kd9k
