I agree, as long as Hayley keeps fixed onto the right track, no amount of junk journalism can hurt her, and, unlike that other someone, her audience is composed of people who are actually interested in her music, not directionless young girls who are only interested in seeing page 9 come to life. All things considered, why shouldn't we professionals who actually have some musical sense feel superior to these folks whose ambitions don't extend beyond clubbing Friday and Saturday and earning minimum wage during the week?

Hi Dave, Peter,
Reading your posts made me think back to my motivation / purpose at that age, and I agree with you, Dave. At that age, the ability to focus in a single minded way is a rare comodity indeed and one which few 19 year olds can boast. Lets hope that Hayley,s maturity still allows her the experiences that most 19 year olds look back on fondly when they are considerably older.
