Hey there... I wasn't sure if I should post this here, but I need a non partial opinion, and I think this group can be considered in "Light Pop", so I thought, let's give it a try and see what they think. La Oreja de Van Gogh (Van Gogh's ear) is one of the best Spanish pop groups since the late 90s. In a time that English-speaking artists monopolyze the pop and rock world (they deserve it, noone doubts that the best ones are English-speaking) and the most sucessful music in Spanish is latin-pop, they achieved a quite good sound and originality in a more european pop style. Well, but, as I said, I wanted a non partial opinion. The thing is that one year ago, after more than 10 years together, the singer of the group left to start her own career. The group got a new singer. And now, I just noticed they recorded a new version of one of their first hits. Of course, I have my own opinion about it, but wanted to see what would you say, since I guess it will be the first time you hear the group. The song is: Cuentame al oído (Tell me to the ear). You llike the song? And what version you prefer? www.youtube.com/watch?v=tVw-kGYNNNE - Original version www.youtube.com/watch?v=JxsZ8huBZ8E - The version with the mew singer. If you like it and want to know the meaning of the lyrics, I can try to find a translation or translate it myself (wouldn't be the first time translating songs).

I removed this thread for a while, but after discussions with the Management Team I have reinstated it.

It's ok, Richard, as I said, I wasn't really sure about if this was suitable here, but finally I decided to give it a try and see what people would say. It's not that important, XD, just in case someone was curious enough to get here.
