The trouble is, Martin, Anne Boleyn doesn't need to be invited. Just open the door and she will " amble in". Roger

Don't tell her any jokes or she'll laugh her head off! Richard

I think you are all evil men that endorse the corrupted patriarchal regime that victimises women. Especially headless women. Be ashamed! BE VERY ASHAMED!

Don't worry Nicola! Anne Boleyn had the last laugh. Henry VIII buried her body but kept the bit that nagged! Richard

Hi all, Inviting the dead.Is this a dinner party or a seance?.Let`s keep this sensible and not loose our heads.Mind you Anne Boleyn might recognise Greensleeves if Hayley started singing. This would be of course if her head was tucked under her arms.

Sorry, I thought the title of the thread was 'fantasy' dinner party? And I wasn't being silly - those are people that I admire and would love to talk to.

I can almost see a typical dinner party unfolding:
... Anne Boleyn will be the head of the table. ... Napoleon will drink water, then visit the loo. ... The Queen will have a royal tea. ... Beethoven will drink a Fifth. ... and Hayley will say an amazing grace!
When coffee is served, Anne Boleyn will say: "No thanks, I only drink decap."

Seems like a fun game. The Living List: Hayley (Of course) Taylor Swift (Who I hugely admire for her many sterling qualities) Skye Sweetnam (Who is guaranteed to be the life and soul of ANY party) Robbie Williams (I want to persuade him to do a duet with Skye) David Beckham (Who is my sporting hero) The Dead List (Well mostly! ) Hayley (The only living person bar myself) Oscar Wilde (For reasons FAR too obvious to list) Alexander The Great (For being the greatest person in history) Friedrich Nietzsche (My favourite philosopher who is not me ) William Shakespeare (For being the undisputed king of writers)

Sorry, Anne Boleyn is not allowed because the rules clearly state that the headcount must be six! Good one, Martin
