Thanks for the clip Gerrit! It was a very short and sweet interview, but I can tell Hayley is exactly the same person at 19 that she was at 16. Somehow she has been completely unaffected by fame! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifBest Wishes from London, Richard

Hi Richard and all.
What I found most interesting on the Classicfm interview was Hayley's reaction to a largely female audience. She thought there might be a few girls out there envious of her relationship with Il Divo--in the sense she has all four of them rubbing shoulders with her on a daily, almost hourly, basis.
It is an aspect that might encourage some of that audience to include her CDs in their desired buys, on the basis of that 20s(?) song of 'the man who danced with a girl, who'd danced with a man who'd danced with a girl who'd danced wioth the Prince of wales!
I remember my US friend in a shop in Boston looking at autographed letters etc and recounting how, as a young boy on the tube his father (a professional cricketer with Worcestershire) introduced him to a very large tall man on the platform, saying, i want you to shake hands with this man and remember you have met him. This is Mr W G Grace.
When my friend came to leave the shop having bought, I think, a framed letter signed by the Duke of Wellingotn, the man behind him stopped him and asked, 'excuse me, but i couldn't help overhearing your conversation. May i shake your hand, so I can tell people I once shook hands with a man who had shaken hands with W G Grace?
What came out of Hayley's interview was that she is and was having fun with il Divo, it is obviously giving her new experiences which she clearly does not regret. If that has kept her happy, then i'm happy for her being with Il Divo.
Peter
