Hello Robert,
Sorry to hear that your wife needs an operation. She will be in my thoughts.
Do give our best wishes to Abigail on her special day!
Hopefully you all can attend a Hayley concert very soon!
Cheers, Joe

Be thankful you don't live in New Zealand. Be even more thankful you don't live in the United States. One song in two years! And my video statistics consistently show that shhe has a very solid fanbase over there. Or Australia. She has not been there for years. And even if her aussie fans take the trouble to go to NZ, not many opportunities. To have been to 20 Hayley concerts is a privilege. Some people in some parts of the world would happily settle for a 20% cancellation rate I am sure. Martin, New Zealand is one of the countries I would like to live in if I didn't live in the United States. It looks like such an amazingly beautiful country! Although I am thankful I do live in the United States (despite the lack of Hayley concerts), if I lived in NZ, I don't think I would ever be ungrateful for living there; Hayley certainly isn't! But then Hayley never has to miss out on her own concerts! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif I do hope Hayley gets to return to Germany one day; Karsten and Thomas have earned it, after all their tireless travelling to the UK to see Hayley, and the wonderful photos they take for us to see. You deserve to see a Hayley concert in your home country!

Hi,
I've just got a mail from the Opera House:
"...We've had word from Hayley's management company that she is unable to come to us on 5th June. We have been waiting for them to confirm a new date which has now been done. She will be appearing at Buxton Opera House on Sunday 22nd August. (...)"
I've no idea if I'll be able to make this date. At any rate I'll wait now for the confirmation from Bedlam before I'll make any further effort in this case. Hopefully we'll get it in the nearer future.
Cheers, Karsten

Thanks Karsten I should imagine the rest of us will get confirmation of the revised date from the theatre shortly. It would also be nice to have Bedlam confirm the change of date Best wishes Grant

Hi Karsten!
Good to hear that at least a decision was made. I'll ring up the box office soon in case I don't get a message by e-mail. Then I can refund the tickets and cancel the flights. As I said before I won't go to the rescheduled concert on 22nd August.
I might book another concert this year. Let's see what will be shown on her schedule in the next months.

[Libby did not write] Pardon me, but my reply was in response to another post located in this topic. I don't see an off-topic sign in his. Did what I say take away from the original topic that badly?

Hello Libby! Martin D's post was only partially off-topic, so I added the sign to your post to discourage others from continuing the off-topic part of the discussion. The thread is now back on topic, so I have removed the sign from your post. I'm sorry if you misunderstood my intentions. Best Wishes, Richard

Hi Gordon, The signs are gathering... The site of the Opera House shows now the date, too, whilst the official site still announces the 5 June. That seems to be the opposite of a quick reaction. Hopefully there'll take place a definite clarification from Bedlam in the nearer future. Best wishes, Karsten

Hello Karsten and everybody! I've changed the date on Hayley's Concert Schedule 2010 to 22nd August, but I've left it as unconfirmed until we hear from Bedlam Management. Once again we're well ahead of Hayley's official website. Richard

Hi!
Yesterday I called the box office and the guy on the phone told me the concert would go ahead on 22nd August. Might be the truth, might be nothing but hot air ... Nonetheless I cancelled my tickets and I was told to receive the refund on my bank account. So I guess they mean it honestly with the postponement. I cancelled the accommodation as well. Next week I have to call Aer Lingus if it's possible to change the orgin of the flight to Dublin for our summer holidays or if I have to cancel and re-book. Concerning their website a change of the orgin isn't possible but who knows, might be worth a try ...

Looks like they are sending out letters rather than emails. Just hope Sue can get the night off work! Martin D

Regretfully there's a Bridgewater Sinfonia concert that night. It's the local concert gig with members of my family in... oh dear, loyalty and personal preference clashes and I do like the Buxton theatre!
