Hi Richard,
I don't think it is a good idea not to post information about any concerts we hear of, whether confirmed or not.
In this case some of us, myself included, might not have known about it before it was too late to get a good seat. Personally, I prefer to know and make my own decision on whether to buy tickets before the date is confirmed.
You don't lose out anyway, since I'm sure if it is cancelled we will get our money back, and I would expect to be offered an optional refund if the date has had to change. You obviouly don't commit to travel or accommodation this far ahead unless you are certain it is going ahead and you will be there. And even then, shows can be cancelled at the last momrnt like Norwich Cathedral on last year's Winter Magic tour.
Actully makes me wonder, when was the last time there were NO sheduled concerts featuring Hayley in the future?

Hi Martin D, We can still have threads about unconfirmed concerts and we can still consider whether or not to include them in the schedule list on a case by case basis (possibly marking them "unconfirmed") but of course, the further in advance they are published or advised, the greater the potential for things changing. I suspect that Richard is just indicating that we can't automatically treat them as confirmed if they appear on the official website. But we may do, in some cases. I wouldn't be in any way concerned about the absence of any confirmed concerts at the moment, we do know that Hayley has a very full year ahead of her and I'm sure that all will become clear in due course. Cheers, Dave

Hello Dave and Martin D! I was only referring to the Schedules board. On reflection, if a concert is shown on Hayley's official site before we receive confirmation from Bedlam Management, we could list it on the schedule but mark it as unconfirmed. Richard

Note that this proposed new date is on a Sunday.

Thank you Martin, I had noticed that the concert was taken down from the Opera House website so this is a hopeful sign.
I have altered the thread title for now, we can change it again when the new date is confirmed.

Hi Martin, Many thanks for the update. I've to confess that I've booked the ticket as well as the flights and the accommodation after the announcement on the official site - unfortunately Buxton isn't around the corner and the cheap flights aren't usually available for a long time Obviously it's the best way to wait for the confirmation on the official site AND from Bedlam AND from the venue. BTW - the official site lists the concert still for 5 June. Hopefully there'll be a better handling in case of the other concerts this year. Cheers, Karsten

Hi Everyone,
Personally I am pleased with this news as I was no longer able to make the date in June, 22nd August would be fantastic for me as it is my birthday the following day. A Hayley concert to celebrate would be the perfect treat!

Thanks for that Martin. Sunday is not so good as Saturday, since I shall have to take time off work, and it might be harder to book the caravan site during the main holiday season. But apart from that, great news, I was looking forward to it.
Another chance to experience the unusual "dead" acoustic that the Opera House has!

Hi Martin Many thanks for advising the possible revised date. I just hope we don't have to wait until almost the end of August for our next Hayley concert! Best wishes Grant

I have just received this message from the box office manager at Buxton: Note that this proposed new date is on a Sunday. Martin If a rescheduling of the concert will go ahead for this date, it means I won't be able to go! Darn! I was hoping to go to this concert. I won't be anywhere near Buxton, as I will be back in Cornwall enjoying what sunshine there will be for this Summer! I'll also be preparing for my birthday as well! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif

Interesting... if it is done in august, this may be my chance for my trip to British land to hear Hayley! But, I guess I'll wait a little more till it's clearer.
