HayleyWestenra Correction! Just got back from the CorpComms Awards -the RBL received a highly commended award for last year's Poppy Launch in Basra! x

Well done the Royal British Legion. I'm sure Hayley played a big part in the RBL receiving that award so well done you too Hayley!

CorpComms Awards 2009

The award won by the The Royal British Legion for it's Poppy Appeal Launch from Basra last year was the "Best use of broadcast as part of a communications strategy" award. The RBL beat three public relations agencies on the shortlist.

CorpsComms is a monthly magazine targeted at the in-house corporate communicator. Their website is www.corpcommsmagazine.co.uk/awards and hopefully, in due course it will carry further news of the ceremony last night.

Congratulations to the RBL and also to HAYLEY for her involvement in this initiative last year.
