As the nation remembers the sacrifices of British service personnel killed in action musician singer Hayley Westenra speaks about tribute song "We Will Remember Them".
The tribute song features stars including Robin Gibb, Michael Bolton and Hayley Westenra alongside four Scots pipers and two army drummers.
Money raised from sales of the record will go to the Help the Heroes charity and the British Legion.
Singer Hayley Westenra spoke of her excitement about the track to Channel 4 News.
"A big group of performers, singers and musicians were brought together for this recording at Abbey Road," she said.
"Everyone was so keen to be involved and to say thank you to the British troops and we're really hopeful that the track will raise lots of money for the veterans.
"I've been a big supporter of the Royal British Legion for the last few years. I went out with the Royal British Legion last year to launch their poppy appeal in Basra so I had the opportunity to meet all the young men and women who were currently serving."
Asked if she was the new "forces sweetheart" the singer said: I think Dame Vera Lynn is really the only one that deserves that title.
"I was part of the remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall on Saturday and had the opportunity to pay tribute to her.
"The whole of the Royal Albert Hall just got to their feet at the end of the performance to acknowledge her. She is a remarkable woman."
