Just bought a Winter Magic album from that site... I can't believe it really is signed by Hayley's hands! I am so excited!
I bought it for 10,99GBP (12,51€)... but strangely, it seems as even before confirming the order, Pay-Pal already charged aditionally 1€, weird... could it be because I am not a registered user of Pay-Pal?

Michal Hi Michal, On the receipt Paypal emailed to you it's 10,99GBP, correct? I think the extra 1 euro (or dollar) it's the way they have to check if the card is valid or not, but it will not be charged. Greetings from Portugal, Paulo Correia

hmm... Yes, they e-mailed me the 10,99GBP receipt, actually the 1€ was just an SMS message I received after entering the data but before confirming it... So, yes, it may perfectly be what you say.

Hi all, Rather down after failing to buy at auction at Derby(Grantland)a peice of art by my favourite artist. The good news was that my Japanese songs signed by Hayley awaited my arrival. As the buyer of the painting paid £680,the Hayley cd was far better value.

I am really pleased about this development in the sales of Hayley's Cds.
I wish them good fortune and all the good luck in the world.
This would be a great opportunity to place a slip of paper in with the cd giving details of the artists websites. The websites in return will guide fans to Earthquake to buy their cds. This may help some other smaller or less known artists to have a means to sell smaller quantities of their music be it on CD or memory stick or SD card. If they prove themselves to be reliable it could restore the listeners faith in the music business, knowing the artist is getting paid directly is one of the things most "honest" people would be happy with. It would also keep out the major "Parasites" who live very well of the artists work often leaving the artist with little or nothing.
I really think this is the way forward for niche market artists, They will be dealing directly with their listeners, not some profit only hungry retailer who will treat everything as mere product. There would be less of a requirement for huge stocks of discs. A trust would have to be developed and customers would have to be patient, especially if you are ordering a "Signed" item, that there may be a delay in it's delivery. Packaging of posted items is important, broken jewel cases are just downright irritating and can cause people to stop mail ordering, but that can easily be solved by buying a pack of jewel cases. People should expect to pay a reasonable price for packaging and postage (Some seem to expect it for the face value of the stamp, which is quite un-reasonable )
The most important part of this will be TRUST, Between the buyers, the artists, and the seller.
It must remain untarnished, above reproach. the internet is the fastest method of tainting a product or business.

Stephen you will probably get far more joy out of Japanese songs, you can't see a painting in the dark, but you can listen to Japanese songs with the lights off and just let your mind run free. and you won't need to tell your Insurance company you have a copy of Japanese songs, so they won't put your premium up Getting a new Hayley album is a wonderful experience that goes through various phases over quite some time. The First Time ever I saw Your Face phase. The Getting to know you phase. The I've grown accoustomed to your Face phase The When I'm 64 phase. It just keeps on changing every time you listen to it..such a pleasure.......

I just had a look at the earthquake website -- do you think that they would ship to Australia? Because they seem to only have UK, Ireland and Europe listed as possible destinations.

Hi everyone,
I ordered a copy of River of Dreams on 1st Feb and it hadn't arrived, so I sent an email to Earthquake.
Ron was very quick to reply and he said there had been a delay because they had run out of signed copies. He said that Hayley should be in the office later this week and she'll sign some then.
So is Earthquake part of Bedlam? I'm confused!

XD, Jiillian, I think someone mentioned before that guess about earthquake being closely linked to Bedlam., and even though as far as I know it was just speculation, everything seems to point that it may be very close to truth.

Hi Jillian, I don't think there is an "official" link in terms of ownership but the guy who runs it is a friend or associate of Steve Abbott (you might have guessed that bit!) I'm sure they will have some kind of arrangement but I don't know if it's informal or a formal business arrangement. Cheers, Dave

Interestingly, even now that Hayley's management change has been consolidated, Earthquake keeps offering Hayley's signed CDs. I think that's a good sign for those of us who have to import their CDs, I wonder if her new album will be available there. By the way, I have written Bandana management asking if there are any chances that her new album will be released in Spain, haven't got a reply yet... I guess they have been busy.
