Hi Andy Thats exactly how I like listening to Hayley. when I'm working in the summer and i have to be in at 7am, I love cycling with her in my ears whilst looking out over the Camel Estuary (Cornwall) and the still morning waters with the sun poking up over the horizon. The best time of day for me.... I can experience that again as soon as I get a new bike! Cheers, Ben

Nowhere nicer to listen to Hayley than in Cornwall Ben!
When on holiday, I enjoy my early morning walk around St Ives and then sit overlooking the bay, listening to Hayley, watching the sunrise. Heaven! Nothing can beat it.
Seems like we have a lot in common, I play the guitar too!
Best wishes Andy

Hi Andy
Ah wow! I'm going to work out a few of Hayley's songs and post the chords on the forum at some point - not until next week though, because I have to do a presentation on a Bach lute suite that was transcribed for guitar on Monday, so my attention is on getting that out of the way first!
There is something quite spiritual/magical about watching the sunrise or sunset whilst listening to one of her albums - its not possible to do that here in Birmingham where I'm studying though- looking at the sunrise with car horns every so often doesn't quite have the same effect! I look forward to going home for Christmas and getting out in the country again!
What do you like playing on guitar?
Cheers, Ben

Maybe it's because I live in an urban area, but MP3 player + Cycling = Death!

Hi Ben and Nicola,
Yes, I wondered about that. I cycled to work for 20 years, and I don't think i could have coped with an MP3 player. These days my route to work is mostly the M1 - no chance of cyling there. Pity, I used to enjoy it!
I still listen to Hayley in the car though. And it is becoming more and more difficult to listen to anything else. Put something different on, and I soon wish I was listening to Hayley, even if its an album I have played incessantly for the last six months! I must be a sad case!

I like listening to Hayley when i'm doing my homework. Her music somehow keeps me sane! It also stops me panicking when i've left everything until last minute! (I have also stayed awake longer than I should listening to Hayley and then moaned in the morning that i'm tired)

Hmm, it's probably with my iPod, while going and coming back from school. It definitely makes the 30-40 minute car ride much more enjoyable! I especially take my iPod with me on trips like airplane journeys and holidays because it's really wonderful to get to hear Hayley wherever & anywhere I go! - Anshita

Oh, do you know about Hayley's work with the Raukatauri Music Therapy Centre in NZ? There are autistic kids in that program, too. My sister works with people who have autism, as well.

me? at work when im supposed to be eating my lunch... curled up at my desk with headphones on; napping til i have to get back to the chaos around me. the funniest thing was when i realised my workmates were quieting so as not to disturb me... i have the noisiest office in the whole world

definantly when i am alone...whether i'm playing video games or on the computer...because i can focus more on not just her singing...but also the music that is being played in the background...and then its easier for me to put them both together and its just this beautiful collage and its just incredible
