Hi everyone, Well, I found information on the elusive Camilla Kerslake! According to here, Camilla will release her debut single 'She Moved Through the Fair' on 2 November and her self-titled album on 16 November. I am a little apprehensive about the album's release because it is released on the same day as 'Winter Magic' is! She's supposed to be on GMTV 2 November, the AT (Alan Titchmarsh) show 23 November, and GMTV Dublin 30 October. Maybe we'll learn a little more about her then. ~Nordly Edit: Not all of this is new information though Dave, I think Camilla's album may be released the 16th after all!

Hello Nordly and Nicola,
Oops, I misread the Music Week date and it does in fact say 16 November so now, only HMV seems to be out on its own. I'll go with the 16th and will update the other thread.

Thank you so much for that article, Nordly. I can perhaps make a profile out of her now. It won't be as complete as my others, but at least I can put her on there.
Really excited to hear that she has original tracks on the album, but I figured as much with Gary Barlow on board. I absolutely love Gary Barlow as a man behind the scenes. Always loved the songs he wrote for Katherine Jenkins, Russell Watson and Delta Goodrem. He is a very talented man, and Camilla had her had screwed on when she chose to badger him above others. He has a good head about crossover.
Can't wait for her album.

She already has a fansite. Unfortunately, it's been made by Take That fans, and like her through association, rather than liking her, for her, but it's useful, as they actually have dates of her appearences, etc. They seem to be more in the know than any other website, so can't complain: We Heart Camilla

Andrew has let me know that Camilla will be appearing with Il Divo and Vanessa-Mae at the Hammersmith Apollo on the 7th and 8th December. Will anyone go? I was excited to go, despite the fact Il Divo were the headline act, as I can't stand them much, but Camilla and Vanessa were enough reason to go. Unfortunately, Il Divo like to charge £75 for tickets. They go as low as £25 if you want to stand up a million miles away from the stage. I'll pass. I hope someone else goes and can tell us about it though.

HMV have published her tracklist: 1. She Moved Through The Fair 2. How Can I Keep From Singing 3. I Can't Help Falling In Love 4. Rule The World (Il Mondo E Nostro) 5. Rain 6. Balulalow 7. Pie Jesu 8. Panis Angelicus 9. Closest Thing To Crazy 10. Cavatina 11. In Paradisum 12. Largo A tiny bit disappointing, but I'll wait until I hear it. I wonder what 'Rain' is? There are so many songs with that title.

Hi Nicola,
Yes, a lot of crossover standards there that there are plenty of other versions of. Rain, I suspect might be based on Vivaldi's 4 seasons (ie like Hayley's River of Dreams). But I could be wrong!

She has released her album in Ireland. If anyone has Ireland iTunes, you lucky people can purchase her album over two weeks early! (I am envious!)

Very interesting indeed and she'll get a lot more popular now Waitrose are using her for their Xmas ad. (Saw it on C4 yesterday). They used the same song last year only Libera were singing it. (How can I keep from singing.) What with Camilla's new album and Hayley's and Faryl's, my piggy bank is going to take a bashing in the next few weeks !! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif
