Hi Everyone, Hayley joined officers from University of London Officer Training Corps at London's Leadenhall Market on Wednesday to help launch this year's Poppy Appeal Drive and encourage more young people to volunteer to get out onto the streets and sell poppies. "I think people forget that the Royal British Legion are not only serving ex-servicemen and women but, very importantly, they are also supporting in-servicemen and women." "These people are my age - they are in their 20s - and I think they really need their peers' support." Hayley flew out to Basra in Iraq to sing to soldiers at last year's appeal launch - the first from an active war zone. This year's appeal will be officially launched next month. For more info Please go to: www.britishlegion.org.uk Cheers, David

There's already a thread for this benefit. It helps to look around first to make sure what you're posting hasn't already been posted by somebody else. That's what I do.

Hi David As Libby pointed out, there is already a thread for Hayley's photo shoot for the poppy appeal HEREThere is a huge amount of information about Hayley here and the best way to check if something you've found is already here is to check the boards on the home page. The main ones are:- "Hayley's Schedule" - list of confirmed concert dates "Hayley in Concert" - Individual concert details with sub-boards for concert tours. "Hayley in the Media" - Newspaper, Radio and TV "Hayley's Charity Work" - Hayley's work with UNICEF, RBL etc. Hope this helps. Best wishes Grant

David,
Your enthusiasm is commendable, however, almost all (perhaps all) of the news and articles that you've posted so far in new threads here, have been posted previously in the forum. This causes duplication, and unecessary additional work for the forum staff.
Members are very quick to see and post anything new, so if you see something, it is probably already in the forum. You can use the SEARCH button at the top of the main page to check if something has already been posted.
I will lock this thread to avoid further duplication.
Dave
