Heya guys! I recorded some songs recently, a mix of classical, Irish and old songs from the 70's. It was a bit of a nightmare to be honest, I was awake the whole night before, my throat was SO sore and they were pretty much recorded live, cuz it was a home studio and it didn't have the equipment to piece together bits from different takes But anywayz! I have the pieces posted up on myspace: www.myspace.com/clairehalliganmusicApologies for the awful backing tracks and croaky voice! Love Claire xx

Hey Claire! Great to hear from you For having been up all night and having a sore throat I'd say you've done a wonderful job! I know I couldn't do that well on no sleep and a sore throat. I like your selection of music too Hope to hear from you soon. Keep singing! <3 Caitlin

I know it's nowhere near Christmas (Only a 100 Days or so ) But I couldn't resist Oh Holy Night, It sounds lovely with guitar and is there a mandolin there as well, gorgeous. If that is with a sore throat, you must be amazing when you are in flying form ! greetings from Dublin and I have bookmarked your page so I can go back to it

Hi Claire,
Many thanks for the link. I am listening to Desperado but I will not be moving until O Holy Night has finished. Loving it.

Hahaha sorry I didn't mean 'old' as such, just not brand new! lol. Ah thanks so much guys, any constructive criticism is welcome! I hate Oh Holy Night, that was the last song I recorded so my throat was in tatters, I think I sound awful on it!!

Oh and I love that you have an Irish song! xx Thanks so much Claire! I love Irish music and I hope to record more in the near future In listening to O Holy Night I can tell you were struggling a bit, and that your voice was tired but if it's any consolation someone who doesn't study music (especially voice) likely wouldn't know. <3 Caitlin

Yup I know, I think I'm gonna re-record Oh Holy Night over the next couple of weeks when I'm in good voice, it's usually one of my favourite songs to sing! I'll let you know once I've replaced the recording! x
