Great idea. I'd like to see you do some more of these comparisons. How about starting in 2003 and moving up to present. Sure wish I got better looking as I aged.

The similarity between the 'My Gift To You' and 'Crystal' cd covers is striking, isn't it? Until I went through my collection of Hayley images specifically looking for similarities I'd never noticed it. It's almost the exact same expression! It's also a nice touch that Hayley wore a blue dress for both of the times she sung Pokarekare Ana with Russell Watson. I suppose they're quite significant photos as they both represent big moments in Hayley's career. Also, going back through old photos, I've been quite taken aback by just how young Hayley was when all of this started up. It's incredible to think that she's already nearly a decade into her recording career (if you count WITA) and she's only 22!! |

Hello Jillian! I believe the first photograph in this thread was taken outside the Fairfield Halls in Croydon on Wednesday 1st October 2003. I met Hayley for the first time in the foyer that afternoon, and I remember she was wearing that coat.  Richard |
