HI Martin, Dori, I have the sample tracks of the new christmas album that Hayley will be releasing. www.universal-music.co.jp/classics/hayley_westenra/wintermagic/index.htmlHMV Japan shows a different cover for the limited edition of the Japanese version of Winter Magic It seems the japanese shows a diffrent cover. I posted a link abovef for both cd's uk version and japanese version. I hope you enjoy it. Best wishes, From David Edit by Dave
I have removed the Japanese tracklisting from this UK version thread, to avoid confusion.

Hello David, that link was posted a few days ago here in the Winter Magic - Japanese Edition thread. We have now renamed the two existing threads to make it clear which is for the UK edition and which is for the Japanese version. This thread is for the UK version. Cheers, Dave

Okay, so what's with the Dudley tour programme saying O Holy Night is on the album, but nothing else says it is? Who are we to believe?

Oh, guess what, HMV now lists Carol of the Bells for the UK version. Still no O Holy Night, YET!

Hi Libby Okay, so what's with the Dudley tour programme saying O Holy Night is on the album, but nothing else says it is? Who are we to believe? I noticed "O Holy Night" referred to in the programme but it is NOT on the Japanese version and I don't believe it will be on ANY version. Shame, but there are plenty of great tracks to make up for it. Best wishes Grant

I know it's not on the Japanese album, I didn't say I thought it was. I wish it was, though! Why are you so sure it won't be on ANY version? As I just discovered, Carol of the Bells was NOT on the UK list before, but now it is. There's plenty of time between now and Nov. 16th for them to fix it again and add O Holy Night. That will make me mad that they said that and it isn't really on it. Okay, so how about the U.S. version? Now don't go telling me there isn't one, because I know for sure that there is. You can't spoil THAT for me, at least.

Libby,
I too love O Holy Night and was disappointed that it was omitted. Also Gabriel's Message. But let's judge Winter Magic by what is on it rather than what isn't. Perhaps the songs that replace these are even better....
Time will tell.

Martin, I'm not saying Winter Magic won't be a good album without O Holy Night on it. I'm just saying I would've loved to have a recording of her singing this song, and will be very disappointed if it isn't on it. I would've been disappointed about it anyway, but having seen it on that list from Japan makes it much more disappointing. Especially if she has and is going to sing it at her Christmas concerts, I can't imagine why it would be omitted entirely.

Hello everyone According to HMV HERE the track list for the UK and Japanese versions are identical. Sorry Libby, but I guess this will be the definitive list for any other versions. Best wishes Grant

I'm not losing hope yet, if you'll refer back to your Dudley programme (shown on pg. 13 of the Dudley thread), which specifically says the album features that song, not the tour. I mentioned it in that thread too.

I mentioned it in that thread too. Yes Libby, but the artwork for that programme would have been produced several weeks ago when, I'm sure, the track list would have included O Holy Night. Who knows why these things change but they do. We know that "Never Saw Blue" was included on Odyssey at the last minute, but who knows what we lost so it could be included? Best wishes Grant
