Nearly 20 years ago today, Bic and Hayley were at the top of the tree, together.



And a mere couple of years ago, I suspect that Bic helped Hayley in no small way to turn it over to The A Side.

I continue to await the day when it will be the return of Hayley Westenra.

I have to say I'm baffled at the lack of press coverage about Hayley's baby. You would think that this would be big news from a celebrity such as Hayley, despite how long it's been. While they did put something out before the birth, I would think the actual birth would be the more highly-anticipated headline. I get that Hayley likes her privacy, but... Is it just that, or does the NZ media just not even care about her anymore?

May Christ bless Hayley and her baby Rose. May they live well, happily, and prosperously.

As to future music from Hayley, that is her decision. One would hope she would return to the studio after things revert more to normal for her both familially (a new baby is a big deal) and societally (something about a pandemic), but that is her option. How and whether she shares her baby with the world is also her choice. She has given all of us fans so much over the past years... we've no right to ask anything of her, and should feel privileged for any information we receive from her. Hayley is living the life she wants to live now. Far be it from this fan to expect her to change her circumstances if she is happy-!

I 'liked' your post because Hayley seems to be happier with her life now than in her touring days, and said so. Having a happy private life is more important than work I'd say, for most of us!

But, not touring doesn't exclude the possibility of producing new music in the future.
