Great picture of Hayley. I’m not a midwife but I would say that the end of nine months is pretty near! I am so pleased for Hayley. Can anyone guess the location? Yes, and remember that I noted her last instagram post before these recent posts was in early December 2021, which is nearly 8 months ago now. I'm no expert, but most women don't find out immediately that they're pregnant. I'm guessing her parting post back then was after she found out, and decided she didn't want to post on social media for privacy reasons. I mean, she could have taken selfies for a little while without us knowing, but she may not have felt up to it, or to do anything else interesting for our entertainment. LOL Of course, selfies are often of the upper body, so she could have taken some without us knowing. But then again she wasn't really in the habit of posting numerous selfies, just one here and there. Oh well, that's enough analyzing that. It seems common these days for women to do pregnancy photo shoots, and from what I've seen, it's nearly always very close to the birth. I think she coordinated her posts quite well. The first post announces it a bit more subtly to let everyone know the news without knocking everyone over with shock (I would have been knocked over. I kind of was, as it is lol), because it isn't completely obvious at first... for one thing, baby clothes aren't part of HER wardrobe, so the caption was a bit confusing to me at first. And then the photo of herself showing the obvious after the initial announcement was a beautiful confirmation. Ok, Stuff NZ, where's your article? LOL I already did a Google search, they either don't know yet, or they're scrambling to find out all the deets. Which means, maybe we'll find out once and for all who daddy is!

Hayley has now posted her picture on Facebook; apparently embedding doesn't work anymore at all, or I'm doing it wrong:
[facebook url="https://www.facebook.com/hayleywestenra/posts/pfbid0Dtdz16gZ3MAL3Vg72wVHSBWHYPNedD1gREYRyvY14LNtfz7ak4DAvDXTV6vsVDz1l?__cft__[0]=AZXNJxpidv5LAgelqGe1gV6CegllpqCVHu65-bQKiacBo6JIrI4gRdb3PUW_bgN3KBQPTal_Yl-7j_kklDbbE_74RgqSpWb_s3p9qqbo0S4yEaZltD-8qmxMPKD7k-wk5mD1pbtD0t6CGaiFqnIvRnvuCsfG3NBnMAmOCBqcqwVvyA&__tn__=%2CO%2CP-R"]
Well, anyway, the Facebook post has a different caption than the instagram one. It says "A new chapter" with a red heart emoji.
She has not posted it on Twitter.

Hi Libby, I remembered the trick of using the Facebook website and tapping the time/date of the post you wish to share. This will open a page with just that one post. Copy that link then embed using the </> button, then select Facebook and paste the link.

Why does your link have less gobbledy-gook than mine. I did it exactly the way you said.

Hi Libby, different devices seem to produce different results for what appears to be the same instructions, I can do things on my android phone that I can't do on the tablet or pc. I can do most things on a pc but the phone is just so handy, also certain functions may be restricted in different regions. It may also be the difference between data roaming on your phone and a fixed ip address like when you are at home.

I've always done it using a PC, so again, everything is exactly the same, except for the fact that I can't get it to post, and Joe can. LOL

Well, I had a feeling Woman's Day had first dibs on this news, otherwise it would have been on all the other NZ news outlets before now. If anyone can figure out how to read this article without subscribing or paying money, please explain. LOL I clicked on the date, and thought I was getting somewhere, but then you can't see anything, there's a key icon. I clicked it and tried to sign in using one of my social media accounts... what was the point of that, you still have to subscribe or pay for it. I finally managed to be able to read the first little bit before it moved out of the slider, at least. And I managed to see a glimpse of the guy's face. If anyone in NZ could buy it and scan it for us? Thanks. LOL

Every now and then I do a Google search of Hayley’s name and the current year and maybe a keyword or two. I luckily happened across it this morning!

Well, I followed the link on my phone later on, via Hayley Online's FB page, and discovered that that was the extent of the article, although I was barely able to read much when I had been using my PC. It's really annoying how some things work on your phone, but not on your PC, and others work better on a PC, but not as well on your phone. LOL It's too complicated switching back and forth. LOL I really was expecting a longer article, but... maybe they're saving that for October. I guess we misjudged how far along she was. Also, it will still probably be a little chilly in October, since that's only springtime... but does it really get very cold in New Zealand in the spring? I see they're in Auckland, not Christchurch, however. I wonder how she met him... and I'm not referring to the city, I'm referring to the profession. Like, where does one meet an account manager from a machinery company? Oh well. Well, now that we know some more details, I found his Linked In page: nz.linkedin.com/in/travis-mcintosh-a336646bI wonder how she met him. Like, where does one meet an account manager from a machinery company? I personally have to go online to meet anyone. It seems impossible to meet people in person, everyone out in public is glued to their phones, so people don't talk. But I can't see a celebrity being able to pull that off without a bazillion people coming after her when they realize who she is. LOL Oh well, we may never know. We're lucky we even know this much, and it's only "due" to the baby, I'm sure. Yes, pun intended.

Of course Libby, he might be someone she has known for a long time, e.g. from school. But perhaps we shouldn't speculate. They will tell us what they want us to know if and when they are ready. Right now I'm just happy for them.

Right now I'm just happy for them. Not likely. You don't usually see someone who's 5 years older than you at school... unless you're talking about primary school, maybe. LOL It's only natural curiosity, probably based more on the fact that meeting someone in person, naturally, seems next to impossible for ME. Not that meeting people online is bad, it can just be a little nerve-wracking at first, and you sometimes have to worry whether they're even a real person or not, or even if they are, they don't look quite the same as they did in their profile pictures. Anyway, haven't we spent years speculating on Hayley's every move? This is nothing unusual for us here. There's certainly no reason to be ashamed of the story of how you met your special someone.
