That is wonderful, I haven't had an Instagram feed for some time, They demanded a photo ID for the account, pop up notifications every few minutes one day while I was working on my pc. I was impolite to them and they blocked the account.

It is indeed wonderful news that Hayley is going to have a baby! I could not find anything on Travis…hopefully he will accept my follow request! Also today is a new story from Hayley…shared from record producer and songwriter Pedro Vito. Pedro wrote “Giving it all on detox juice week” and tagged Hayley, @sebastiansternberg (Sebastian Sternberg who is a drummer) and @stevemilb (Steve Milbourne - music director / creative director but his account is private).  |

Wonderful news!
Covid has been very difficult on people working in music and entertainment and it has probably been a challenging few years for Hayley.
Glad for her that she has a new and exciting chapter to look forward to. Also it was a nice touch sharing this personal news with her fans.

Needless to say I did a double take at seeing ANY post from Hayley after all this time, and then to realize what I was looking at in her photo was another major surprise! Not that I've ever been known to be calm and collected when I see a long-awaited post from Hayley. LOL Also, I've gotten so used to only seeing Hayley things posted by the Korean guy, so at first I thought it was him reposting something, so that's the other reason for the double take... I was like, wait a minute, that's a post from Hayley herself!  Well, we didn't even know she had a new partner, so it was a bigger shock to me because of that. Obviously she's experienced plenty of life in the long months of her hiatus (8 months ago... which is almost 9 months, now that I think of it). I wonder if she decided to go on hiatus after she met him, or maybe when things with him were "official". That way she could have total and utter privacy, and not have to worry about whether some of her notoriously analytical, sleuthing fans (guilty as charged!) figure things out or not, and gossip amongst ourselves. I also completely understand her wanting to avoid social media in this day and age, it can get really crazy. Sometimes it's better to just tune out all the hysteria. Although in recent months I've noticed her presence by a few likes here and there on her friends' posts (Natalie Holt, in particular). So my question is, is the baby already here, or yet to come? Does that little outfit look newborn-sized, or not? I can't tell in that photo, and I'm far from being an expert on baby clothes. But it is winter in New Zealand, so it looks like something a baby would be wearing either now or in the not-too-distant future. There you see, I managed to sleuth out something.  So far, I've only tried to look up Travis McIntosh on Facebook, to no avail. There was one from Dunedin, NZ, but it didn't appear to be the right person. I think maybe if I lived in New Zealand, the search would turn up better results, although maybe he doesn't have a FB account. Eos, I tried searching for "Travis McIntosh rugby player", and also came up with nothing that seemed to indicate any such player exists. I have to say that after all these months, I really haven't thought about Hayley all that much. Yes, partly due to her lack of posts, which automatically makes one despair of ever hearing from her again, let alone an album (Alicia, what makes you so sure we're getting an album anytime soon?). In that time I've had a few of my own significant life experiences, and needless to say my old Hayley obsession was far from my mind most of that time (although I did share some of her music along the way). And my new position at work has my mind far more occupied than I was at any of my old jobs. In the old days, when I used to sit alone at the garden register at Lowe's for hours on end, that was when my mind usually went to wondering and obsessing about Hayley's next moves. I don't really have time for that anymore, and there's rarely been any reason to think of her much these days, anyway. I'm explaining all this because because I've always been known to be such a diehard fan, and these days, while I still consider myself to be, not nearly to the degree I was in the "olden" days. Honestly over the past 2 years, my interest in any sort of celebrity has faded, not that I've never been much for the big Hollywood stars. Ok, enough rambling. I haven't rambled to you all in a while, so I figured you were all due for it.  |

Well Libby you may as well concentrate on something else because I don't think we'll be getting a new Hayley album for at least another 5 years. Clearly she will have other priorities now. Maybe once the youngster starts school but that is straw-clutching in the extreme !

Undoubtedly great news for Hayley after a very difficult few years. It was reasonably obvious that she had returned to New Zealand to ‘start’ a new life and now it seems it has truly begun with the most marvellous event. No doubt we will learn more about her partner in due course as indeed about the baby too as the local media soon catch onto this, if not already. I only hope now that the couple can enjoy a normal life with a loving family which Hayley has probably been dreaming of for a long time now. A new life and a new beginning. |

I googled "Travis McIntosh New Zealand" and found a few articles that mentions a Travis and his friend who married each other to win a trip to the 2015 Rugby World Cup (in a competition hosted by a radio station) - and somehow my excited brain didn't read the articles properly and turned him into a rugby player...  Anyway, the article below is from 2014 when this Travis that I'm refering to was a 23 year old engineering student. I don't know if he's the one Hayley is expecting a baby with, but he was the only one I could find. That's lovely news and I'm so happy for Hayley and her partner. Being selfish though it probably means we won't have any new music from her anytime soon and, although I hate to admit it, maybe never again. I hope I'm wrong but it doesn't look like she wants to be in the spotlight anymore and wants to lead a normal life. If that's the case I totally respect that, family always comes first. I'd just love to hear her sing again in the future though as her voice is likely to be in its prime over the next 10 to 15 years.

But I've gotten so used to nothing new from her, that any studio posts barely phase me anymore, we've seen that off and on for 8 years. I kept hoping she would just hurry up and have her album before she found anyone else so she could have that out of the way and THEN get married again and have some kids. That sound selfish too, but it wasn't as if she wasn't at least TRYING to have an album, so if not for all the hiccups along the way, we probably would have had one. And I think probably all the Covid stuff basically slowed it down to a halt. Though, I do have to take note of the fact that one of her posts before her hiatus began was a post of her with a guitar and a keyboard, and her wearing headphones. Her caption was "office". But no recording mike. And again, we've seen those posts before off and on for years, and still nothing. I do have to point out that Pedro Vito and Sebastian whoever are not from New Zealand. She originally worked with them back in England, I forgot what year it was, as the photos are long deleted. So did she travel to work with them? Vice versa? Is she really still in New Zealand (the winter baby outfit seems to say yes, she is)? Or is she back in England, and the baby isn't due until England's winter? I'm thinking she's still in New Zealand, though, but we have no way of being sure. I've gotten so used to not hearing from her that I kind of already resigned myself to possibly never hearing a peep from her again. So I think we're lucky we got anything. I do find it a bit odd that one would want to keep a relationship hidden from your fans until you find yourself having a kid with him. Because then everyone's like, whoa, wait a minute, where'd the baby even COME from? I mean, that's one way to let the cat out of the bag. LOL but maybe it's because of her previous history, with both of her previous marriages ending within a year. Maybe if she presented us with her next prospect, people would have said, "well, I wonder how long this one will last". Having a kid with someone seems to show that this is official. Because for one thing, even if your relationship with the father of the kid doesn't last, you still have the kid. So at least there's that. I'm not trying to be pessimistic, that's just my analytical breakdown of everything. LOL Do you suppose we'll at least get to see one picture of the baby? LOL Well, the picture in the instagram photo shows 2 guys, none of whom look like the guy in the article, who has a beard, and looks a bit on the "ginger" side, whereas neither of the guys in the instagram photo have beards, and the eyebrows on one of them are dark, and this guy's are not. I can't quite see the other person very well. This guy is 31, going by the ages given in 2014, so a few years Hayley's junior. I have to admit this article is funny, though; they even went on a honeymoon. The activists were apparently mad, but I think it's hilarious.

If you do a forum search for Pedro Vito or Sebastian Sternberg, you will find many forum posts of their collaborations with Hayley from 2014 and 2015. But all that was for nought.
