Hello Folks,
I rarely log on to the board these. I swing by without a login occasionally, but this is my first login for a few months. This is because there is so little to see and discuss, as is evidenced by the fact the most recent topic is about events from 10 years ago! Despite the disapprobation I received, I'm still sweeping the back-trail occasionally. This has indicated that some are still trying to record and release music. Don't know what it will be like. We can find out later this month. If interested, "Insta" this: @sex.tapes.music
Sorry that you disapprobated my post marking the tenth anniversary TO THE HOUR of Hayley’s beautiful and approbated performance. Her song meant so much to me, my family, and America’s fallen servicemen and women ten years ago, today, and ten years from now. And, from any estimations, you will still be mentioning Chris McFarland in 2031.

My reference to posts about the Memorial Day Concert from 10 years ago was intended only to draw attention to the lack of current topics to discuss. I'm sorry if people saw it differently.
It was certainly not my intention to denigrate the posts or the event. In fact, I think Hayley's performance at that Memorial Day event was one of her finest. It was very moving and she carried it off without wavering, which, considering the emotion of the event and its importance to so many people, must have been hard. Altogether a very professional performance.
Regarding service personnel, I am very much in support of the various remembrance activities that take place. Both my Grandfathers fought in the First World war and my Father fought in the Second World War. All three were lucky and survived to live long and fulfilled lives. We always have our own little ceremony of remembrance at our home on the 11th of November every year (the UK's remembrance day). We lay out Dad's medals on the hall table to remind us of Dad and all of those who have made sacrifices for their country.
I also draw attention to my post on the Memorial Day Concert thread.
I would hope that people on this forum would be accepting of a broader range of views and enter discussion accordingly. If we restrict ourselves to just one agenda, the resulting debate of agreement will rapidly become boring.
I take the view that history cannot be unwritten and that less palatable facts should not automatically be "swept under the carpet". I happen to be interested to see how other facets of this particular history develop, for its own sake and also to try to better understand how we came to where we are today. There are often multiple versions of events and being aware of them gives a more balanced view.

We don't have to restrict ourselves to "one agenda", but as far as I can tell, your own agenda each time your post tends to be about the same, so... I tend to agree with Joe's previous statement, unless and until Hayley finds someone else.

Someone commenting to Hayley’s post said that it looked like the Brick Room at Roundhead Studios. And it is indeed! Here is another angle of it…

I thought it looked familiar, too. It does seem natural that she would go to a New Zealand studio whilst living in New Zealand, and then one she's used before also makes sense.

The important think though is that she appears to be recording something. Yes, I know we have been there before, but it gives me hope that something new is in the pipeline.

I like seeing her spend time with the NZ legend that is Bic Runga.

It's definitely a great sign, and I'm choosing to be hopeful about it, too.

Maybe the third...or is it the fifth?....time is a charm. Hoping this is the time everything works out.

Hayley posted a story of her fortune from her Good Fortune coffee package (she just started following Good Fortune coffee). I just got the notification a minute ago! Only a four-hour delay this time.
