I still appreciate her more frequent posts, whether or not they happen to be "newsworthy". I have noticed they have started to dwindle a bit, though. Well, it was nice while it lasted. I hope she's doing well. Remember, she promised us we would hear her music someday! Maybe she's planning a virtual concert? Do I dare hope?

If taken at face value, I agree with you, Joe.
However I seem to recall several previous hymns of intent along similar lines and it's two husbands and two continents since Hayley's last output.
Not holding breath ..... might turn blue, or worse.

Not holding breath ..... might turn blue, or worse. Really, Crissy? While I agree she's tried to reassure us in the past with no result as of yet, this is the one of the few times she's actually said so clearly in a social media post. She's at least telling us that she still has every intention of doing it. So I believe her. That also tells me that the reason we still don't have the "results" is something out of her control, something that was not expected to happen. As I've mentioned other times, there's no reason to be so negative regarding her personal situation, or even to keep bringing it up to begin with. We don't know for sure that her personal life has any relation to the lack of "output" this time, as you say. I have certainly been one to complain, too, but back then, we never got any type of reassurance like this. Also, the majority of us had no knowledge of any problem in her personal life. So that there is the difference right there. Also, at this point, we've been waiting so long that we're kind of used to it.

I, for one, am happy to see this post. She looks well, and is communicating with us. Everyone has been positive in the comments on instagram as well. No negative nancies there.

Yes, that looks very promising. And her life seems to be stable at the moment, so that makes me optimistic that she will be able to concentrate on the music. It is all positive, and I look forward to hearing her new music.

She like my reply to her, part of which said that I hoped these songs would includde Greener Lands, Who Will Echo My Heart, and Not Alone. The only one of those songs that she's made available for everyone to hear is Greener Lands. And only those attending her concerts are supposed to have heard the other two, and the last one, only those in Taiwan 3 years ago. And she even told the press in Taiwan that that song was "for a new record"! So she kind of has to use it.

I echo Martin's comment. Couldn't say it any better. If she is counting on the 3 songs Libby mentioned, then she only needs 9 more songs to make a standard 12 track record. At least for me, I am fine with well picked covers on a record. I imagine Jolene has to be at the top of the stack at the moment in that regard. So I think it's doable....assuming she still has a record label, manager, etc.

I hope she's counting on them! LOL I don't know if she had been planning to use them when she was still working in LA, but I hope now she will decide to use them. We know the first two are incredible songs, and those who attended the concert in Taiwan certainly enjoyed the 3rd. I wonder if they remember what it sounded like, though!

Hayley is encouraging New Zealanders to vote on Saturday! Having said that, just to remind everyone that this is a politics-free forum!

I had to look up what "Chur" means. Here's the definition I found on this website: "Chur (chur) As in: “You can borrow my car tomorrow, mate.” “Oh, chur, mate!” This is a sign – almost an involuntary exclamation of surprised delight – of extreme gratitude. As in much of the New Zealand lingo, it is understated to the point of perfection. Within this single syllable is encapsulated the meaning found in many a lengthy poem on thanks and heartfelt appreciation. A “chur” may be forthcoming when you really pull a friend out of the stickiest of pickles, or when you unexpectedly prove to be the savior of a stranger." Otherwise, Chur is a city in Switzerland that I'm interested in visiting (seriously, what Swiss city am I NOT interested in visiting? LOL). Here's a nice photo and more info on Chur, Switzerland (pronounced in Swiss German, "Kur"): Chur is an Alpine city and the capital of the Graubünden canton in eastern Switzerland. Winding streets in the car-free old town lead to the 13th-century, three-naved Cathedral of the Assumption, in the courtyard of the Bishop's Palace. The Brambrüesch aerial cableway ascends to a plateau with trails, panoramic views and winter ski slopes.

Nice to hear she's feeling good, hasn't always seemed too happy in the past.
The phrasing 'getting music to you' is fairly general, might indicate she's considering putting more of her singing on social media in the meantime if an album is still hesitant to surface.

Hello Robert I hope Hayley can post more singing videos! Even at-home mini-concerts would be fantastic!

Hello Robert I hope Hayley can post more singing videos! Even at-home mini-concerts would be fantastic! Yes, that would definitely be a good thing! Even if we couldn't play it in our cars, we could at least HEAR it some way or another. At least eople who travel using buses, trains, etc. can connect their earphones to their phones and listen to videos that way. There are some artists who post videos on their page just about every week.

A few videos popping up in recent days.
One of Mackenzie Graham larking around in a bath at AB's place. Bath in the exact spot where the pergola was.
Then one of CG and others at AB's place with bath still in place.
Today one (in two parts) of CG listening to music, still looking long-haired and dishevelled.
