I know she began learning years and years ago now, and have always wondered if she got her license back then. But I realized she probably didn't have much opportunity to actually hone her skills, let alone actually need to drive, living in a city with such accessible transportation (my friend and I successfully traveled throughout England without driving once, though of course a HWI member or two helped out with a few trips  ). So, I wonder if she only started working on it again since her return to NZ... or did she also get some practice previously on American roads, in American cars? It's possible... There's definitely transportation in LA, but you know, it's America. People think you're nuts if you don't drive. LOL  |

He does, but only a bit. He looks as though he is a very friendly, tolerant cat. LOL Certainly very furry and cuddly-looking.
I've never owned a cat, but once when visiting at someone's house when I was younger, the person's cat walked across all the seats in the living room until she reached my lap, and then decided my lap was a nice place to nap. I was very pleased that she chose me to nap on. LOL She was also very furry.

Yes, cats are like that. Very picky and sometimes you think they are simply tolerating their owners, and would rather be lefy alone.

Glad she uploaded it onto her youtube!  Hayley's Youtube 'About' page still lists her old website in the Links section, and uses her old domain in the Business Enquiries email address. www.youtube.com/channel/UCuA623UAgxrJuWcMcaI_kgg/aboutUnless she knows about and is happy with the new domain and website owner, it might be a good idea to remove them, I hope she notices! |

I clicked on the link. Weird! LOL For some reason whenever I see or am reminded of her most recent video, instead of Jolene popping into my head, the Nick Cave one does instead (with Hayley's voice, of course; never heard the original). I don't think he's very well-known here. I first heard of him when Josh covered his song, Straight To You... which also happened to be the name of the tour following, even though he didn't even sing it! And then Hayley's mentioned him a few times. Having heard only Josh and Hayley versions of his songs, I fail to be interested in checking him out. LOL And even though Hayley sounds good singing it, I found the first part of the song she sang a bit choppy. |

In regards to the first story, are her new friends human, or is she talking about the lamp and the guitar? LOL and by sage, is she referring to the herb sage, or sage wisdom?
I suppose she might be at a friend's house, and they're giving her some sage advice? No idea really. LOL

LOL Bowie has huge paws! 🐾 Yeah, I couldn’t make heads or tails about Hayley’s “new friends”...it could mean the lamp and guitar. I first thought her “sage” might have meant she was burning a sage smudge stick for spiritual and new age cleansing. But that wall is a sort of dark green color. Perhaps it was just painted sage green (part of the curtain is down). |

LOL Hi Libby, Yes, I interpreted her post as meaning her new friends were the guitar and the standard lamp. As far as the "sage" was concerned, I wondered if she was referring to the shade of sage green which the wall has been painted in. Andrew |
