Great picture! Her braid reminds me a little of the elvish hair styles in the Tolkien movies! Legolas in particular was known to have a braid on the side.  Otherwise, they generally had small braids at the back of their hair or side braids twisted back. But for some reason her hair just reminds me of them. LOL |

4 new Insta stories of Hayley playing the piano and singing Nock Cave's song "Into My Arms." She sounds wonderful 🤩
Edit: I will say it seems to be a sad song, albeit beautiful. I don't want to speculate too much but I'm sure most of you will follow similar train of thought.

Into my arms has got to be in any Nick Cave fans top five songs.
I bought the album just to get that one in my collection.
wonderful piece of songwriting, beautiful performance,
Cohenesque and that's a gold star compliment.
Certainly a thought provoking set of lyrics.
we could speculate for weeks and still be wrong about Hayley's thoughts on it.
Marty Whelan plays it regularly on RTE Lyric FM.
What can I say ?
I am delighted that Hayley has posted these few clips.
A full length version on her YouTube channel would be a treat for the starving.

I couldn't quite believe it when I saw HWI's FB post about it earlier today! I was like, could it really be??!! I went straight to instagram to check it out, though. I like to see it on Hayley's own post first, if it still happens to be there, and of course it was and still is.  I mean, they were and are. LOL My thoughts on it are that it's a miracle for Hayley to post this for us! It doesn't mean an album's coming anytime soon, but at least it shows that she's still singing, and now, after all this time, she finally decided to share it with us, even if it was just a simple late night improv. Something to give us hope. And yes, I believe that she has had reason to be sad, but thankfully, she doesn't seem to be letting it keep her down. You go, Hayley! It's a very encouraging sign, I think. BTW, the suitcase reminds me of the sets my family and I used in the '90s.  |

Hi Libby  It is exactly what we needed...just to hear Hayley singing! She had the crystal ball 🔮 emoji there too! Now Hayley just posted a new story...she is going to a crystal shop! EDIT...i added the two story photos of crystals. it may be a daily record with eight Hayley stories in 24 hours!    |

Is that 9 now, or is it outside the 24 hour window? LOL well, maybe it's 8 again starting with the one from yesterday afternoon.  Well, nowadays, I don't take the crystal ball emoji too seriously from her. She seems so deep into this mystical stuff nowadays that I think it's just because of that. And because we've seen it in posts from years ago, and if it meant things are in the future, well, that future still hasn't taken shape. So... Nevertheless, I'm still very much encouraged by her much improved social media presence. I noticed she started following Jason Gunn of New Zealand. He has a thing going called Easily Said, which is a story-telling academy. It says: It may just be that she's following because he's from New Zealand, or, is she going to "tell her story"? Always something to think about. |

Oh, that story was outside the 24 hour window. There were just the four crystal stories remaining. I very much agree that Hayley’s social media presence has improved! Her time in New Zealand has certainly reinvigorated her soul, and has quickly reconnected with her supporters.
That is great info about Jason Gunn’s Easily Said services. It sounds like a confidence-building endeavor, perfect for a speaking/singing tour or book writing.

That's such a pretty plate! And it's on the piano! I knew Jason Gunn's name was familiar. There's a new story less than an hour ago! Hayley says good morning, looking up at the sun through the branches of a tree. Very nice. Oh, and it's a video. |
