Sorry it's taken me a little while to get back on here again Libby (but not as long as before  ) Yes, I was a little surprised by that debate  . I think you're right, I think she probably did need some outside help, but I just hope she is happier and is getting healthier now. Judging by recent Instagram posts I think she is in the best place and is looking happier, it is so nice to see her smile.

Well, nothing so far. I know he was online, and so was Hayley, because they both liked a post by roundhead studios (imagine that!  ), so either he's ignoring the question, or somehow he didn't notice. Well, I imagine it may be a sensitive topic, but I just asked as if I had no notion of what could possibly be going on (or not going on, as the case may be). I didn't ask Jason or Andy. I like to ask my questions on recent posts, so it makes more sense to reply to them. Andy rarely posts anything, so not much point in asking him, but Jason occasionally posts. However, mostly he posts stories, and I'm not going to try to reply to a story. Speaking of replying to a story, I'm curious. What does it look like to the person on the receiving end when someone replies or reacts to your story? I'm just curious, because on Hayley's or others, I will react with a "heart-eyes", or occasionally make a comment, and I always wonder how or where it is received. I don't post many stories myself, mostly because I have never noticed that anyone has even seen it, let alone replied to it, so I usually don't bother. It's most likely that nobody did, but I'm just wondering, if someone did say something, where would I see it? On Facebook, it's easy, because it shows up in your regular notifications. So I do post stories there. Sometimes the only way I see a reaction from certain friends is when I do post a FB story. It's like some people only look at stories, and nothing else. LOL weird. But I actually wonder if they stumble on it by accident. Like, if you're looking at one person's story, it'll immediately go to the next person's story whether you want it to or not. LOL I've only posted a few stories, I do so quite sparingly I think, often if I'm very bored or I like one of the filters I've found on there or a photo I've taken doesn't fit very well on the main page LOL. I feel a little self conscious being able to know exactly how many people have looked at my story- because I think they're quite boring LOL. I don't always see the point as they're only there for 24 hours too unless you add them to 'highlights.' I have posted a few more than usual for me recently though . In my very limited experience, I've had a couple of reactions to them and a couple of messages- they go into a "Direct Message" folder and you get an alert that some one has 'responded to your story.' If it's a 'like' you see a heart emoji, like on the main pages but a bit bigger. Any comments just go to a direct message folder that you can choose to reply to if you want, or dismiss if you don't. You get the option to post their response to your story if you want to if that makes sense LOL . Oddly I can't seem to 'follow' Hayley on Instagram anymore, I looked one day and somehow I had 'unfollowed' her, I certainly didn't do that. Now every time I try to follow her page again it says 'sorry an error occurred.'  |

There is a place where I seem to get some sort of notifications, but when I click on it, it's always something to do with me liking or responding to a story. Usually nothing actually directed at me. It's a little arrow shaped thing on the top right, sort of like a paper airplane. Is that it? I do hope you're able to resolve following Hayley. I can't imagine why you wouldn't be able to.  Hopefully it's just a temporary glitch. I have all her social media pages in Bookmarks on Firefox anyway, so even though I follow her, I still visit it just about everyday when I'm on the PC. That's where I check the new follows. It isn't very helpful to look on the app, because it doesn't show it in any particular order, whereas on the web, it shows it in order of the last pages she's followed. That's one way I was able to tell she'd stopped following you-know-who (the second time). |

However, I'm not especially pleased that the way my argument was "won" was due to very concerning thinness. I do believe that her mum has always been an influence for Hayley in matters of health... even when she was doing poorly 10+ years ago, what little she was eating was very healthy, taking vitamins, and such. However, you may be right. Her mum has always appeared quite slim, so it could also be that she strived to achieve this slenderness, as well. I just think her mum eats very healthily, and as I brought up back when I re-visited the old article and found those "red flags", I wonder that no outside help was brought in. I happen to believe her mum, being into health as she is, and of course being her mum, thought she could get her back to health. I think she did... to some degree, and also as mentioned, her new bf at the time seemed to help her regain herself. However, as noted at the end of that article, it didn't seem as though her issues with food ever really went away. So yes, I believe they may have mistakenly thought they didn't need outside help. Which then raises questions of expertise on nutrition if eating disorders seem to be out of the line of knowledge. If even I know what should have happened, and I'm not an expert, simply a student who remembered what she learned.
