Here’s a theory on the album’s disappearance. . What was going on in the actual recording studio was the DEMO. If so, either the record company turned it down upon completion and it’s all over for good, or it’s “on hold”, searching for another publisher after the apparent closing of the studio, AND/OR there was a break up of the two main “parties” that led to it’s demise, as evidenced by what we don’t (or DO see) on social media.
In other words everything just fell apart. Whew! It’s now back to “start over”, maybe some day, maybe not. 🙁

P.S. And yes Libby’s comment about the bits that we did hear being unlike the usual quality we expect from Hayley, is basically what I was trying to convey in my previous post. So I guess My above post is a bit redundant. Whew!

Thanks Libby for that!  I have never been on the Instagram website on my PC (which I use rarely) and I don’t use the app.  Looks like what you outlined is not available on the Safari Web browser for iPad or iPhone.

EDIT: BAH! It's not real...I had a feeling. It would be neat if her previous albums were released on vinyl. I imagine Paradiso would sound particularly nice in that audio form. I think someone mentioned previously on this site about Hayley's music and vinyl 🤔

She's been doing demos off and on for 5 years or more! And we have only heard about 2 songs, 3 if you were lucky enough to attend the last concert in Taiwan... in 2017.

If it was all only ever demos, why did it take a year, and why did it take that long if she already did tons of other demos before that? Well, the answer to that is most likely my theory that she did not use any of the songs from the demos from before. I sincerely hope she brings those ones back, someday, somehow, somewhere.

Despite the quality possibly being less than what we would normally expect... I still have a hard time believing it would be such that a record company would reject it. Her voice is still good even when it's not perfect. She apparently did something at Capitol Records, for goodness' sakes!

Two stories this evening (or tomorrow evening, depending on how you look at it). She was at a coffee stall in Christchurch.

There were five stories in all!  Hayley spent part of her Saturday at the Christchurch Farmers’ Market, then made some soup! The first, third, and fourth images are screenshots of videos. 











I finally downloaded the Instagram app for iPad, instead of using its website.   Now I can hear sound in story videos, and can react to stories now! Note that going forward you will see icons and a “send message” box at the bottom of my story screenshots.
