Yeah, PM John Key is actually awesome, very cool. I'm not too sure if she has sung for him, I don't recall hearing about that anywhere.

Apparently Hayley thinks he is. And I'm pretty sure I read somewhere before that he likes Hayley as a singer, so he must be all right. Has Hayley ever sung for him? I know she sang for Helen Clark, right? Of course she's going to say that. If Hayley is openly critical of her own prime minister, it won't make her look good. Or, she probably just doesn't have an opinion on him since his way of running NZ doesn't effect her because she doesn't live here. But overall, stars have always been criticized for being too critical of their prime ministers/presidents (not that I think that's right - everyone should be entitled to voice their opinion, no matter who they are). But I don't think Hayley would have tweeted out "I think JK is uncool". That won't do! And it's not like Hayley to openly criticize like that. However, I think he's uncool. And since I'm not famous, I won't be blacklisted like the Dixie Chicks for criticizing a leader. Dori

I don't think a difference in politics should get moderated. As long as we don't have a political war on HWI. :2fun: Dori

I'm happy here on Hayley's side! I doubt Hayley would say something positive just because she doesn't want public attention. Besides she could have not mentioned it at all. She just said he's cool, which doesn't necessarily mean she agrees with his politics. She may, or may not. I agree with his politics though! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif

I don't even know if it has anything to do with politics. Someone can be cool just as an individual without their political stance being taken into account. He could just be a fun person to have dinner with. I wish there were photos of Hayley with Prince William!!!!

Though it is possible that guests weren't encouraged to be waving cameras about the place... what with royalty there and all -- have to act classy! There's plenty of photos of William with guests at events in Australia because the paparazzi were practically hanging over the fence. I think the events in NZ were a bit more private. They had an interview on the news this morning with a waitress that handed William a Seafood Platter at a restaurant for goodness sake! Were the news reports that crazy in NZ? HAYLEY!!!! We need details here!! Don't keep HRH Wills all to yourself!

I recorded the main news programmes of the day from 5 of the main TV channels. None of them showed video reports of the Barbecue that we know Hayley attended, and she wasn't seen at the other events either (perhaps because she wasn't at the others!). But I agree, there must be a photo, somewhere! Dave
