I was wondering about that, Martin, but I'm not worried about it. It should be obvious from my tweets why I chose Pure; it made the biggest impact out of her other ones, breaking "records", and is what helped her be where she is now. My favorite album is Treasure, but it wasn't as "big" as Pure was. I'm not stopping you from adding in your own favorites!

Hi Libby,
I think we should all stick together and try to help Hayley in the same way. Pure was the best selling classiacal album of the decade in the UK, and that must mean something.
I agree about Treasure, of her international albums, but my true favourite is HSJS(1). But most of the world has never heard of it.
Another example of how to mess up the career of a great artist, the finest female singer I have ever heard by a mile. But I think we have to expect that from Decca, after all they turned down The Beatles!

Figures!
Now that you mention HSJS1, I'll put one of those songs in the #nowplaying topic, which always seems to be a top trending topic.

Beaches!? Lucky lass. It's like sub-zero in Glasgow. Bless her.

I'm glad the weather is nice again for her. Beaches are fun! And she needs to do lots of fun, relaxing things for her vacation. You feel so much better then when you go back to work, when you've had a nice time off. I can only dream of a month off.

Month off? I don't think I had one of those since my school days!

Wow, you guys need to travel more. Dori Actually Dori, my work involves quite a bit of travel. I'm off to the Isle of Man this afternoon for example! I once spent several years working in Sweden, and have been to both Australia and California in the last few months. Martin D

Well, Hayley has a month off, now, but I guess she usually doesn't get many days off other than that. So she certainly deserves it! I get 2 days off every week, but they're different every week, and they're very rarely consecutive. I do get vacation hours, but I usually spread them out throughout the year. I rarely get to travel or go on a "real" vacation.

I think because the kind of job that I'm going into evolves around an academic year, I get that long summer holiday, plus the traveling that my university would fund.
I'm lucky. :2fun:

Hello folks! I really enjoy leap years, because I get 366 days off instead of the usual 365! Richard
