Hi Martin Quite so Grant! The designer of their booking system never took account of the average Hayleybooker! Cheers Martin I think you're off topic! This should be in the Lexicon thread!! Best wishes Grant

These five posts have been moved from the Bristol Cathedral thread: Hi All Fellow HWI Friends, I'm urging all of you to pray for nice weather this December. I haven't see Hayley since the Valentine's Day Tour so I'm suffering from severe Hayley withdrawals. So this December I am coming to see her in Belfast, Dublin, Bath, Norwich, Bristol, and Barbicon. I'm stoked. Which airport is closest to Barbicon? Where the heck is Norwich?
Larry Hi All Fellow HWI Friends, I'm urging all of you to pray for nice weather this December. I haven't see Hayley since the Valentine's Day Tour so I'm suffering from severe Hayley withdrawals. Larry Larry, you are my hero! Have a great time.
BillHi Larry,
It will be great to meet you again. Sue and I will be at Bath.
As someone who workks in the airport business, I'm perhaps well equipped to answer your question.
The closest airport to the Barbican is London City Airport, but unfortunately i don't think there are flights into there from America. So you will be coming to Heathrow or Gatwick, and I don't think there is much to choose between them. Both have a rail link into Central London, Heathrow might be marginally quicker though. Stansted and Luton are I think less easy to get to/from if you are headed for Central London. As for the newly designated "London Oxford Airport", forget it.
Norwich is North East of London, in the middle of East Anglia, the rounded bit that sticks out to the East, above London. It is the county town of Norfolk, and is a nice city. Incidentally, the North Norfolk coast is a pleasant and interesting area, the whole stretch from Hunstanton to Cromer. Norwich Cathedral is worth seeing too. Norwich has an airport (with my software controlling the airfield lights, just like all of the other airports I have mentioned). Again, I don't think that there are direct flights to Norwich from the US (but I could be wrong). The train from London will be OK though.
Hope this helps.
Best Wishes
Martin

Hi, According to the official site (today) 'Tickets are now on sale for all UK Winter Magic tour dates'. Cheers, Karsten BTW - Limerick is still announced there on the events tab, no sign of Belfast. Edit by Dave - Belfast now confirmed - there is no Limerick.

Hi Martin,
As it falls between Banbury and Tewkesbury I wonder if it will have the same format?
The Marlow was closed for redevelopment in March.
This concert is being held in a temporary (Big Top like) structure they are calling the Marlow Theater Arena. The Arena will serve until the new theater is opened in "late summer 2011".
Booking is open at the website and by 'phone on 01227787787.
It looks to be selling well as the whole of the front centre block ( about 280 seats) appears to be sold out. I had to settle for seats at the side.
Jim

Hi Jim and Martin,
As venues often jump the gun, we don't know if contracts have been finalised yet or if additional concerts are to be added so let's give Bedlam some space to tell us and the official site, which I am sure they will do as soon as all is finalised.
There is of course nothing to prevent members from taking a chance on tickets if they wish, there must be a fairly high chance of it going ahead but as yet, UNCONFIRMED. If we get much closer to the date, I will email them but I'm sure they won't keep us waiting for long.
Cheers, Dave
