I have had Trailer Park and Central Reservation since 2001. At the time I was enjoying Suzanne Vega and Tracey Chapman's songwriting and was hoping for something similar I suppose.
I have played them a few times over the years but never really got into them, I got the feeling Beth was really trying to find her niche, There was very little consistency in the overall sound of the albums. Tracks were going from completely acoustic to rock heavy and others leaning towards a disco beat or electronica. I played them again the other day, Pity the lyrics are not on the insert, sometimes to see the written words alone without the music can increase the level of interest.
Can any of you guys recommend some of her later material ?
Beth seems to have a very high moral standing and has turned down the "BIG MONEY" on several occasions on moral grounds and for humanitarian reasons. Not a bad sign in a true artist. Most true artists are troubled by what they see going on around them in the world.

All I know about Beth is that she co-wrote "Talk to Me" with Hayley. If she had any piece of that wonderful song, she clearly has some talent IMO
