Sissel appeared in St Louis Missouri earlier this year in a small concert hall. She was received very well. The house sold out. I don't know where else she appeared but I was delighted to have the opportunity to see her in person. I wish Hayley could get some engagements of that type here. I'm sure the press would pick up on her talent and help her career along.

I've been an avid fan of Sissel for some time. I'm firmly convinced that she is one of the most talented classical crossover artists performing today. I am also convinced that Hayley will be much like Sissel as she ages; although I think that Hayley will attain a greater level of success than Sissel as Hayley seems to love touring. Although that may change as Hayley matures and possibly has children like Sissel.
I don't think that Hayley will be sequestered in such a small area as Sissel is so even if she does have a family she will still have the opportunity to tour without being in the relatively confined space that Sissel is in. And if some day she would come to the U S she would have the largest audience reachable in the shortest time. I'm dreaming now.....but some dreams do come true.

Sissel's rendition of O Mio Babbino Caro is my favorite. She shows so much emotion.
But I really can't get into her Norwegian songs.
