What a great review. A pity that she felt so nasty... Very dedicated again to her loyal fans to take time for them after the concert! You must be talking really loud Grant to get another 'On stage' converstation with Hayley i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifThank you for sharing your story Sharon

Hi everyone Many thanks to Grant and Martin for your reports so far. Despite the fact that Hayley was not feeling very well, we were treated, yet again, to a lovely concert last night. I thought that Hayleys voice sounded better than ever and I was surprised when she finished the concert with Wuthering Heights - given that perhaps she was worried about her voice holding out. She sounded stunning and hit every note with perfection. I know that Steve and Grant in particular will have lots of photos to share with you later. However, in the meantime, I thought you may like to seesome of those that I took as Hayley was arriving. I will catch up with a more full report a little later. Best wishes Mark

Thanks for the speedy reports, Grant and Mark! I'm sure Hayley must have had a rest after the soundcheck, because she certainly sounded on top form throughout the concert. I think her new dress is actually a shade of turquoise, but it is definitely blue rather than green. Chatting to Andy after the concert, he told me that he bought a new camera while he was in Las Vegas a few months ago, and he is very pleased with it. I'm really looking forward to the videos, so I'm keeping an eye on his YouTube Channel: www.youtube.com/user/ajmooremusicI can't really add anything to Grant's report. It was another very enjoyable evening, and it was great to meet up with so many old friends from around the world. HWI is truly international. Best Wishes, Richard

Hi Grant and all Albanians. With Hayley safely inside, we had a quick look in the Arena foyer, collected flyers and sourced posters for after the concert, then went across the road to the Wetherspoon’s for dinner. This one quite interesting inside as it is a converted seventeenth century barn!
Hmmph! In my time of working in St Albans it was a reasonably upclass dining room. I hope they retained at least the image if not up to the reality (black frocked waitresses with white aprons and hats!). Apparently, tickets for the concert hadn't been selling well and the job had been handed to Ticketmaster. That had obviously worked as, apart from the side balcony, there were very few empty seats.
Now that is interesting/surprising? I don't know the Alban but thinking of my knowledge of St Albans it struck me as an obvious place where Hayley would have been well received but also with some doubts. I think it is the sort of place where people are generally 'not aware' but are in various 'cliques' of interest: Abbey-related, religious; Schools related', Catholic and Protestant have good foundations); Abbey theatre related (drama). Maybe Ticketmaster tapped the right public thread. Well done, Grant, a superb report as always. Thank you in advance for those following on as I am sure they will, photographs at least! Peter S.

Hi Martin and Ben Hayley was just a bit tired Ben after a very busy three week schedule. Nothing more than that really. Just so, but when your occupation depends upon your voice, you take very good care of it. I'm sure Hayley will be aware of the signs of a pending problem and respond accordingly to minimise any effect. I remember reading that she wouldn't speak for two days so she could get a particular note whilst recording Pure. The timing of the request for a photo with the Legion people came just after the sound check and Hayley clearly felt it wise to rest for the concert which we understood, sending our best wishes back to her with John. Best wishes Grant
