Hayley did fine. This was the usual short promotional appearance, largely focused on her upcoming Joe's Pub show. She sang "Pokarekare Ana" in its most simple and compelling style (much nicer than the elaborate, over-produced versions) , with a vocalized piece in the middle, replacing the chorus, which worked quite well.
She was dressed as simply as you can imagine for a TV interview, a summer top and jeans, which I think was fine and signaled her simple, unpretentious personality. .She had a different cut to her hair than I had seen, long and straight as before, but tapered now -- a several inches shorter on the front than in the back. Very nice appearance.

Sorry I missed it. Just got back home from a week-end trip to the seaside in Atlantic City. Drat !! Thanks Dan for a great visual.
