Hiya everyone, just letting anyone who has time to waste over the weekend and early next week if they want to vote for Hayley to try and get her in the top ten for the Tweeter Wall of fame for the category of ''Best Female solo Artist'. I think it's a bit late in the competition for her to win it, but getting in the top ten would be at least some publicity. You can vote once every 20 minutes, cheers.

I think this may be a good time to admit that I have nearly all of Hilary Duff's albums (This is from my time BH).
But doesn't compare to our Hayley

Well, I've voted, and I really don't rate any of those above Hayley at all. If we were talking Sandy Denny, Dusty Springfield, Karen Carpenter, Barbra Streisand, Joan Baez, even Grace Slick I might understand. But those others are no hopers aren't they, all media hype ansd limited talent (ok Mariah Carey I'll reluctantly accept, she has a voice even if I don't much like the way she uses it).

Well.. I've just voted for Hayley and she now has the same number of votes as Amy Winehouse - compare and contrast both artists in terms of celebrity "status" - quite a contrast don't you think?

Hello Tasslehoff and everyone,

Well I am not and I am unlikely ever to be a Twitter person but I too have voted in this poll.

As mentioned above, after voting it initially blocks you for a while but then allows another vote, so I assume the leading contenders are there at least partly because of multiple voting by some individuals. Nobody whose fans "play fair" and vote only once is likely to stay on the first page. It seems to use your IP address as well as or instead of cookies to slow down the multiple voting. I am not advocating one thing or another, I am just pointing out the way they have designed their voting system.

And I see that reaching the Top Ten will be enough to get a singer into the permanent "Hall of Fame" so good luck to Hayley!

Hehe, that's where I heard about this competition last week being a corrs fan myself and diligently hitting the vote button for days on end for Sharon for the best UK tweeter, lol. We're a rabid lot over there amongst the diana vickers fans also spending the wee hours of the morning voting. So when I saw someone had already nominated Hayley for this one I just had to switch allegiances, hehe. Oh damn it's 4 am gotta go to bed.
