Hi All June is expected to be a relatively quite month for Hayley concerts and appearances so to help pass the time I wondered which Hayley album track(s) suited a particular mood you might have or has helped you in any way to get you through a situation? To get this started I would nominate "Let Me Lie" from Treasure for complete relaxation and helping to unwind after a busy or stressful day. A very underrated composition by Hayley which I find very theraputic. Any more suggestions? Martin ps Try and avoid the flipant suggestions like "The Water is Wide" for helping people with aquaphobia!

Well, Martin, to me an awful lot of Hayley's songs are very personal. I relate to many of them, and they all inspire me and often move me to tears.
But one I would mention is Hana, from HSJS1. This song to me is about the day I first met my wife. A beautiful May day when the flowers did indeed bloom. And we both had broken marriages behind us, and were both still hurting. We both sad we were finished with the opposite sex, and yet we are still together 35 years later That song just sums it up so perfectly. As for moods, well, I don't have them. Instead, Hayley's music creates my mood. She can make me cry. she can lift my spirits to the sky with her immense optimism. She can fill me with hope, or love, or just make me marvel at the sheer beauty of her magnificent voice. But if I want to relax, I don't listen to Hayley. To me, Hayley is exciting, thrilling even. She commands complete attention, and excites rather than relaxes, I just feel like saying WOW! For relaxation, Katherine or Faryl or Andrea Ross, but not Hayley.

I hope this wont be considered answering an old post, but I couldn't help it I really loved her song 'Heaven' it helped me get through a tough time when my dad passed away. Also love 'Dark Walz', my fionce and I are considering using it as our first dance next year. I agree with you Martindn, Hayley doesn't relax me either, I get so caught up in her songs and the magnitude of emotion and imagery they cause

Hi Stacey,
I love 'Heaven' too! Not only is it a wonderful, catchy song, it also has a wonderful message behind it.
Dark Waltz appears to be one of the real favourites off 'Pure' -- the high notes are just incredible!
Good luck with planning your wedding! My sister is getting married at the end of April and I know how much work and thought goes into planning the big day!
