Great pictures there Michael, and soooooooo many. Having permission makes such a difference to what is achievable. I never had the luxury of permission to shoot at any of Hayley's concerts that I was ever at. I was recently allowed to video record and audio record a small concert for a family friend, The luxury of being able to use a tripod and viewfinder and being able to be seen to be operating a camera was completely new to me after the last few clandestine efforts at Hayley's concerts, where the screen is closed in and all the led indicators are covered to avoid it being seen, You can't even be sure you have the power on never mind anything else, At the last Hayley concert I was at, Unfortunately the zoom button moved, Zooming in fully, I normally tape it down to stop it being moved accidentally, so all I got on video was a small segment of fabric from Hayley's dress, I could have beaten myself severely with a tripod when I saw the results.. If I had a tripod with me..Aghhhhhhhhh.... On the first half of the concert I must have touched the RECORD button twice which put it in the PAUSED mode for half a concert..and then I spent nearly an hour with a camera that was not running, concealed and pointed at Hayley.. What a wally plonker ? What a waste of effort ? What an opportunity missed ? Agggggggghhhhhhh again.

Hello everyone, Tonight, Jupiter is in conjunction with the Moon! Well nearly. I managed to grab a shot of it as they slowly passed by, in a gap in the clouds. I waited for the moon to go behind some thin clouds when Jupiter was in clear sky, to avoid the moon getting burned out because it's much brighter. Cheers, Dave

I've been watching this for the last couple of nights. It is great to see, and there is a clear sky tonight. It will be cold though, down to 2.6C already.

Hi Guys, ... both the Tyne Bridge and Sydney Harbour Bridge were built by Dorman and Long, and there is a placard on the Sydney bridge (I've seen it myself) that says so, and ISTR it mentioned the Tyne Bridge. Does anyone have a photo of the Hell Gate Bridge? Martin D I've just learned there was a much earlier bridge that was the model for the Tyne, Hell Gate and Sydney Harbor bridges: The Wylam Railway Bridge. Some Scottish Critters... Whitey Rabbit He is a wild one, running around on our caravan site. Babby Bullfinch. So tame, he hopped onto my shoe and even let me stroke him. Mummy was less impressed. Martin D

Hi Martin D, You've re-kindled my interest in nature, love the photos, what a surprise to see tropical trees in Scotland! All I have this week is my garden though, complete with blackberry bush! It took me a looooong time (don't ask!) to get this shot of a bumble-bee yesterday evening, doing what bumble-bees do when the blackberry flowers emerge. The darned things flit about so fast, zzzzzzipppp!!!!!! Cheers, Dave
