i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif Guess what I did today. It has something to do with this Yes I went to Arthurs Pass on a steam train on a glorious Spring day. The Rakaia Gorge In the Waimakariri River Basin Getting near Arthurs Pass At Arthurs Pass Some of the wildlife. They are Keas which are a mountain Parrot. They are very cheeky and can rip the rubber off cars etc with their beaks.

Hi folks
A quick question to those who use Photobucket to upload their photo's - does Photobucket support RAW files?
Cheers

Here's my response to Ben's about his housing photos... This is my quaint little room - it's amazing at how much one can fit in these things! I'm a Resident Assistant so I don't have a roommate, but normally in a the same size as mine there would be two beds and desks. Let me apologize for the quality - I had to use my video camera because I don't have a camera right now... My door to my room: This is part of my room... I'll have to do the rest later as I'm nearly late for class!! <3 Caitlin

Hi Caitlin That looks like a nice cosy little room - very personalised - my room is still a shell at the minute! Ben

Hi Caitlin, For a dorm room I think it looks very adequate. After all how much time do you spend there? Study, sleep, shower and leave. I missed seeing you at the concerts these last two years. Hope school is going well for you.

Hi All, Excellent pics & all very different places in the world !! This RAAF Orion flew over my place this morning. 3 x actually.I was still in my towel out on the balcony. But pics have priority as we all know and I took the risk anyhow. Graeme

Hi Graeme, Great picture. It was close enough to see the wires extending from the fuselage to the horizontal stabilizer. Is the Orion a reconnaissance aircraft? If so, they probably have a picture of you as well. Bill

Great looking room, Caitlin. It looks very well organized. Much like my daughter's dorm room for about the first day after she moved in. Have a great school year. Bill

Richard No Richard, I didn't, but a guy in a towel usually gets arrested here of he's noticed. Graeme

Today I went to the Waiau River (One hour North of Christchurch near Hanmer Springs) to see the World Jet Boat Championship. Of course New Zealand invented the Jet Boat for our braided rivers we get in Canterbury and they can run in less than six inches of water. The fastest boat today was doing 138 km/hr (86 mph) up stream in the first race and would have been going faster down the river in the second race. Near Waiau for the Up stream race. Near Hanmer Springs for the Down river race
