Hi Richard. Thanks but neither Jillian nor I are Belgian or Dutch nationals....even when we change to Australia. We're somehow Bruno "unclean". Graeme
The loveliest, sweetest flower that bloomed in paradise, and the first that died, has rarely blossomed since on mortal soil. It is so frail, so delicate, a thing, it is gone if it but look upon itself; and she who ventures to esteem it hers proves by that single thought she has it not. Humility - Fry
Richard, the link just takes you back to the homepage. You have to do a search for Hayley.
You can't click to make the photos larger, but I found that if you put your cursor over it, and enlarges a little bit, and says something about a child choir. But you can't see the rest of what it says.
How is she launching the childline charity? It already existed, didn't it? Why are there no articles about it?
Hi on the Twitter page of the NSPCC (National Society For the Protection of Cruelty to Children) it said:
First Direct met with classical Brits nominee Hayley Westenra and Capital Children's Choir to launch their bid to raise £2m for ChildLine
When I went onto First Direct's website, they're organising a 'Big Bike Ride' to raise money for NSPCC and Childline (a child help phone service). Staff of first direct are doing a 200 mile bike ride and are seeking sponsors.
I found them at First Point's flickr webpage. I have posted the link under the photos. You're right about Hayley knowing where the camera is. The interesting thing about looking at photos of Hayley through the years is how her posing has gradually improved. Take a look at photos of her at the Classical Brits over the years -- I think at the first one she wasn't really sure what to do, but by the most recent one she's the right celebrity in front of the paparazzi! I suppose it's something that you have to practice! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif
