That second video was awesome! I've wanted to hear her sing In Trutina post-Pure for a while. It's one of my favorite songs. Thank you!! I'll watch the first video tomorrow. My phone won't let me watch it and I'm heading to bed. Thanks, Dave!!

Hi, A mystery to me. A few minutes ago, in checking the site, "Who Talking - Hayley Westenra", I came across 6 different twitter accounts, each one in Russian, with a posting made about 5 hours ago, and which had just Hayley's name in Russian followed by, in English, (Hayley Westenra), and nothing else. It appears to me that each was picked up from the same source. Has anyone happened to have come across this? In taking a quick look at each site, each in Russian, the postings generally have to do with Russian based subjects. It is just so strange to see Hayley's name there. BobS whotalking.com/Hayley+WestenraEdit: Now less of a mystery. Just noticed that each of the 6 sites, under 6 different English names, has exactly the same Russian postings. Bob, this is everything that I found in my hayleywestenra twitter search today. Meaning, it's a twitter feed of Hayley's mentions, which is what I do a search on everyday.

You're welcome. I find it interesting that a separate site has all this on it, but who knows. During my searches, I find all kinds of odd stuff. Her songs on lyric sites in all sorts of languages and countries. Also, one thing I notice when one person/page tweets a certain song or video, then a whole bunch of other pages tweet the same song/video. Not sure how or why that works, but it's not everyday. Also, another thing I see everyday is usually some Asian site advertising an album of Hayley's, almost always her Japanese version of Hushabye. The pages go by various, similar names, like "highly nice product", or something similar, and often a few in a row. So mostly what I find is useless stuff like this, as well as people listening to her music. One thing I like to do is see where all these listeners are from, and they're from all over the world. Of course the most common ones are from Asia.

Some of your remarks, Libby, about what you notice on your Hayley searches, are what I, too, have noticed on "Who Talking". I don't remember having ever seen anything on the forum of Hayley connected with Russia. I know that she is known to some degree there as I once found a Russian music site which had much of her current music available to listen to for free. In mentioning it, by PM, to management, having doubt about posting the address, I was requested to not even mention the name of the site. So, I only wish that I could have seen the original post for that which has just been picked up. BobS

BobS On the twitter search feed I mention, I do see fans posting Hayley videos who are either from Russia or have a profile name that appears to be in Russian. There was a fan today from Petropavlovsk. Upon searching, I found that they have a very spectacular volcano which can be seen from there. Also, besides that, there were 2 others today who you would assume are Russian, and they each posted the same Ave Maria video as the first one I mentioned.

Hi, Am now thinking that the Russian that we have been seeing on Twitter has to do with some such site as the one below. Hello Bob,
That Russian music site was really cool. It was neat to see Hayley's lyrics translated into Russian. I do feel that someone took the time to do a proper Russian translation, as I ran Google Translate over the English lyrics and saw a poorer result.

Hi Joe, What you cleverly did, and found, is interesting. BobS Edit: Changed the song to one that plays.

Uuhhh... if you mean the lyrics to Never Saw Blue, those are the exact same, incorrect lyrics you find on all the lyrics sites in English! For example "Among the gold I was alone" instead of "a month ago", as it really says. Not a very good translation by English speaking people into English (let alone from Russian)! All they've done is copy the lyrics as posted on those useless, ad-infested lyrics pages. Hayley Online is still the best place for Hayley's lyrics.

Absolutely right Libby, you did a great job there. But even there there are one or two I'm not entirely convinced about. Hayley can occasionally be a bit indistinct. No howlers like the "Never Saw Blue" one you mentioned though. Martin D

Most notable was "Summer Fly" and the word "buzzin'". Looks like there is no direct Russian equivalent so the English word was used.

I didn't click on the other link.
