That is just so painful it is unbelievable. My kids used to go to Beaumanor Hall on school trips when they were in primary. I really have to be there - Hayley's second time in my home county of Leicestershire - except that I will be on holiday on that date and can't make it.
I won't be able to welcome Hayley to the delights of Charnwood Forest!
I feel inclined to shoot myself.

Hi All
Just called Jackie Towers on 01509-416070 and tickets are on sale. We have reserved four tickets at £18 each. She can only take credit card, not a debit card. Saturday evening, middle of summer (??), Hayley and just down the road!
Perfect!
George
PS -- Sorry, Martin, just read your post. Really sorry if you cannot make it there. I know I would feel the same if we were away.

Hi George
Good to hear you are all going to this one. I'm holding fire for a week or so until I know whether or not Elizabeth or Teresa would like to come.
Do we know the capacity for this one?
Sorry to hear that you will be away Martin, that's terribly bad luck!
Best wishes Grant

Do we know the capacity for this one? I dunno, Grant, but I think it is big enough that you don't have to decide between Elizabeth or Teresa! Roger

Hi everyone I think I should make this one. I think before booking tickets I will just wait until Bedlam confirm Hayleys attendence. Its a bring your own chair job, so no point in reserving a seat - unless of course you can reserve a patch of grass i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifBest wishes Mark

Well, I think Hayley might just have changed our holiday plans! This is the show I had been waiting for (or something like it, now that Sue is mobile again).
We just can't miss this one! I think we will come home for it, then go off somewhere else. Fortunately this year we are holidaying in the UK with the motorhome, so we can go anywhere. Perhaps we will now choose different locations for the first and second weeks of our holiday. I might have to bring a couple of Sue's work colleagues though, some of Sue's converts (to Hayley fandom).
Mark, there are certain among us (I won't mention names, but they will be there) who are very good at reserving patches of grass, particularly ones near the stage! I have been grateful for that before. I think the important thing is to be at the front of the queue when the gates open.

Hi Roger,
Is there no confirmation from Bedlam yet? I have people who will need to book time off work who want to come, and will need to do it soon, otherwise they won't be able to get the time off (these are Sue's colleagues, who work nights). So the sooner this is confirmed the better for them. I'm holding back to, so that I can make a single booking.
Any chance of giving them a prod? I will owe you one if you do. Thanks!
Martin

Hi Martin, I have already asked the question but have had nothing back yet. That usually means the event is not fully confirmed (although it is likely to go ahead). There is a huge amount of detail to be negotiated before contracts can be signed. Meanwhile, we fans have to be patient. Roger

Thanks for that Roger. I'm just a bit surprised that events are publicised at all, and tickets are sold before those things are sorted out and the contracts are signed. But thank you for your efforts.

Thanks Roger. I'll ask Sue to ring and book, since I'm about to depart for a night shift at Bristol Airport. I may be some time!
