They're great! Now all Hayley needs is a drivers license and she's ready to go! I couldn't imagine being without my car -- but I hear it's very different in London and the UK. You all talk about your trains and buses. I hadn't even been on public transport until I was 17 when I moved from home to the city to go to uni! When I got on the train for the first time at 19 it actually scared me a little bit because the way they whir along the tracks is a very different feeling to wheels on a road. Then, when my mother would come to visit me, I'd make sure we'd go out somewhere using the train just because it was that little bit exciting (wow, I really make myself sound like I don't get out much, hey? i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif I guess just a different perspective on the things that are usually taken for granted) Not that I have a car as impressive as any of these. (Well, it might have been impressive a long time ago). This is my mean machine (not my actual car -- it's not as clean! ) This is my actual car sitting next to a whole heap of other Exas back in 2006. That's me in the grey jumper -- and my mum is in the black jumper standing next to hers. 1983 Nissan Exa -- so I can make my exadus (I think that I'm the only one that finds that funny?!). I'd imagine it used to go like a scalded cat, but now it's a bit like an asthmatic ant with some heavy shopping...

My car bugs me too sometimes - when it doesn't want to go where I want to go! hwi.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=offtopic2&action=display&thread=3345&page=126#64670Love your car. Paddy

Hi Jillian I'd imagine it used to go like a scalded cat, but now it's a bit like an asthmatic ant with some heavy shopping... Your description of your poor car's performance made me chuckle. In England we would call it a Rolls Canardly - "rolls down hill but can hardly get up the other side" :rollin It was one of my Dad's favourite expressions! Best wishes Grant

You all talk about your trains and buses. . Yes Jillian, if you live in London a car is a liability. I know from experience and that was before the introduction of the congestion charge and the Low Emissions Zone. To start with, parking at your destination will probably cost more than the fare on a bus or train. That's before you even think about running costs. Personally I never take a car into London. If I am going there, I park some wa away and take a train. Wher eI live though a car is essential. I would have to set off for work at 2.30am every day, and not get back until 10pm otherwise. And that is only 20 miles away! Martin

I think it's cool there's a Toyota Camry and now a Chevy Camaro that involve Hayley, artistically speaking. However, for the record, Hayley is economically linked with the Lexus brand (ever see that ad on Japanese TV?), even though her second international album shares a name with a popular Honda SUV. I hope we are not running afoul of her preferred automotive affiliations by mocking her up with different brands than that with which she has contracts.
Personally, I think she should drive a motorcycle -- a Hayley-Davidson.

I really like those pics of Hayley and the cars! Hayley could really sell this Kia Amari...if it was a Kia Ora! Or could help bankrupt car maker GM go from General Motors into "Go Maori" Joe

I think Hayley is Corvette material. Not a new one but a 1958 convertable. Fire engine red.

It is a great way to combine a holiday with a Hayley concert (isn't that what a "Hayleyday" is?). We are looking for a suitable opportunity to try it again, since our new motorhome has never been on a Hayleyday, and it will soon be a year old! All it needs is a concert with a caravan site nearby.
