Hi all,

Just realised that Hayley's Hushabye Oscar De La Renta dress was also worn by Kirsten Beth Williams to the Olivier Awards on 28 April 2013. It was also loaned to her by Atelier Mayer, who provided the dress to Hayley.

It sort of bugs me... but in a lot of the Hushabye photos of this dress, the bottom looks like it good do with a good ironing...

For the (speculated) video shoot for the Japanese Best of album, Hayley wears a Topshop satin floral tea dress.

A topshop recently opened in my city (Brisbane, Australia). I must say I wasn't all that impressed by it. But that said, the nice stock never ever makes it to Australia. (For example, Hayley's sequin French Connection dress was never stocked in Australia). I think the problem with Topshop Australia is that the prices have been converted over from the UK pound (and then of course added some - which makes it rather quite expensive for what it is (synthetic fabrics, not amazing quality and generally aimed at a younger crowd as most of it isn't really appropriate to wear to work) Though I think the appeal in the UK is that it is affordable in their currency and has a huge array of constantly changing stock.

I recently saw someone with a bag that said "Top Shop at Nordstrom's". Nordstroms is what I think of as an expensive department store, so I imagine their Top Shop would be too. However, the mere fact that Hayley wears Top Shop clothes has me interested in checking it out sometime! Most likely just to look. Most things are big on me, anyway. I'm often lucky if I find an XS that's not just a little too big, so I tend stick to the stores that I know have stuff that fits me. But then you run the risk of no variety.

It's harder to tell with basic trousers and a shirt, but I think they could well be a match. After all, if Hayley's stylist picked up the dress from Topshop, it would be easy to get the rest of the outfits there too.

If she has then maybe it is just a coincidence that Topshop displayed their new range yesterday at the London Tate as part of London Fashion Week.

Now that we have a full length, I'm not sure if they are the Topshop trousers. I'm not sure if they have the elastic on the bottom of the legs. But it's hard to tell from the smaller Instagram photos

I've noticed that Hayley's been wearing a lot of black lately! I think she's worn black a lot throughout her career, but lately, that's been nearly all we see her in, though mostly in casual form these days... if we see her, of course. Here are the recent photos (sorry they're big, but you can see her most recent dress better this way ):




Of course, these 2 are of the same outfit, but different parts of the same outfit.




This is just a plain long-sleeve top, but it still counts. In the brighter photos, this looks dark gray, but I think it's a sort of charcoal black:





Then there's this black dress she wore at her last 3 public events (the Polar Music Prize event, the Italia awards, and the Cricket World Cup performance). Although in this first photo, it does seem slightly altered compared to the other events she wore it to; the part beneath is different and it's almost like that collar part seen at the other 2 events is either folded under or not there.












You can't tell for sure if this is black or not; it could be any dark color, but given Hayley's seeming current obsession with black, I'm going to go with black.

It's to go with her hair I suspect. That would be the simple explanation.

It's an extremely classic color that can be paired with anything. With black you an create that timeless look with red lipstick (which she seems to like to do).
