The design, colours, fabric and lighting were just P-E-R-F-E-C-T-I-O-N and of course the voice..

I think that my favourite is the duet with Shin -- Hayley's part was very pretty! The ending of 'The Prayer' was also very good. I love Hayley's dress! How can she stand let alone walk in those shoes!?? I love her hair! It's really cool and fairly adventurous when you compare it to the hair styles Hayley usually wears. And to think I thought Hayley was only singing one song! This thing was almost a Hayley concert and not an Opening Ceremony! Here's some of Hayley and Russell.

Matt and I have imbedded a few of the youtube videos on Hayley OnlineThese are just the lower quality videos that are on youtube, but they are laid out a little easier, rather than having to search through youtube...I direct your attention to the "The Moon Represents My Heart" video because it has the English translation along the bottom. That is my favourite video/song of the opening ceremony at the moment....it's Beautiful!

I just realised that Hayley participated in 6 songs at this event! Why so many? Of course, no one can ever get enough Hayley, but I just think that it is fairly remarkable. How many songs did the other participants sing? I just watched Nada Sou Sou and Pokarekare Ana on Youtube. They're great also! I really like Pokarekare Ana -- which is a big deal for me as I've sort of listened to that song so much I became sick of it --- but Hayley and Russell really brought it back to life for me! Superb! 'We Are The Champions' was fun -- I think that the Taiwanese singer Shin stole the show in that one. This is a great Hayley day for me! Yay! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifIt'll be interesting to see what happens to sales of Hayley's cd in Taiwan over the next week or so.

Hi Jillian, thanks for all the screenshots, I knew i could rely on someone to do them! Don't overdo it though, or people won't be able to find the videos they came from! I've decided to do (or re-do) all the main songs in 1280x720p high definition now I've figured out how to do it (YouTube doesn't recognize the existing 960x540 ones as HD, though they are really because SD only goes upto 720 wide) but I will spread that out over the next few days. There's no rush in view of the mass of them at standard definition on YT already. Cheers, Dave

Don't worry, Dave, I'm all screencapped out! Time for some sleep, I think! I've been so busy this week and I was looking forward to collapsing into bed -- but I came on here and got so excited that I forgot all about sleep! Anyway, Bravo Hayley!! What a great performance! It must have been a very exciting night for her.

Hello everyone Did you happen to notice the huge screen in the stadium whilst Hayley was singing? Pity no one thought to put up the URL for the 'Tweeterwall' followed by "Vote for Hayley!! With the whole of Taiwan voting, Hayley would have overtaken everyone by morning! Best wishes Grant

Hayley's hair normally doesn't stand out for me as something to notice, other than it always looks good, but here I think she outdid herself. She looks better than ever.

The Prayer again, this time in true High Definition video (1280x720) - although you have to look closely and have a high resolution computer screen to see the difference! The Prayer in HD (xvid - 140 MB) It is also on YouTube in high definition and it works, I've just played it (on YT) in HD and cannot tell it from the original! Yo'll need a fast computer and fast broadband, though, to see it properly in HD on YT. www.youtube.com/watch?v=t3gVYH7hw8c come on, let's get the viewcount up, we are late! My favourite is the next one, Nada Sousou, but unfortunately, there are some glitches on the video satellite stream, which I want to fix before I upload it. Dave

Thanks Dave, it played perfectly on YT on my pc. Wow, what a performance and what a stage for Hayley. The perfect opportunity for Hayley to promote herself in the Far East (and Russell didn't do too badly either ). I will now pray that Hayley gets a similar opportunity in three years time in London although a long way off. Martin
