Hey Dave, Thank you very much for uploading these videos!! The speed at which you managed to do it shows your dedication for Hayley and HWI, which I'm sure has been shown before but I'm fairly new around here! (You beat NZ television ) The videos are such high quality! They didn't play on WMP for me, but they played on VLC. The performances (so far) were AMAZING....left me glued to the screen in shock... And Hayley was stunning!! Was also cool to hear her addressing the crowd Can't wait to see more!! Thanks again Dave, Jono

It was not the best quality for me. It kept stopping and starting, and Hayley's image would get "stuck", although some of the time you could still hear her singing (but mostly there was no sound when it happened). Some of the movements were "computery". It was a bit frustrating. Just when it got to the best parts, it would freeze. I can't complain, though. It's not too often I can get Dave's videos to play (no, I'm not dial-up! ). It was put up very fast, too, so I guess it's good enough until somebody puts it on youtube. I just hope that will be good quality, too! I loved Hayley's outfit! It was all quite different than what she usually wears, from the elaborate braiding to the clunky high-heel shoes. I think it was probably picked out for her, because they probably wanted her to look extra special, and she did! She deserves to be treated like the star that she is, especially at a big event like this! Was it my imagination, or did she have a bit of trouble in The Prayer? At one part, she and Russell were just barely starting to sing together, and the video froze. When it started up again, Hayley was not singing, when it seemed like she still should've been. Then she made some sort of adjustment to her ear-piece. I wondered if she's just not really accustomed to that sort of thing, because I don't remember seeing her wearing those things at her regular concerts. In her book, she mentioned she avoided using things like that because it makes her feel separated from the audience (when talking about the Celtic Woman shows). Did I mention Hayley looked fabulous?! BTW, what does "Wahey" mean?

Guess what, I found Amazing Grace, The Prayer, and Nada Sousou on Youtube! Visually not great quality, but at least it doesn't stop every 10 seconds!

Sorry I'm kinda repeating myself from the Official Forum here, but if anyone has trouble playing them try VLC Media Player. That player can play almost any format you throw at it, and it isn't a bulky program! Maybe Dave can recommend some other ideas. Libby, I also knew about these youtube videos, but I didn't wan't to ruin it for everyone else...I think its worth waiting for Dave's super HQ videos!! So thanks for ruining everything Libby! Just kidding There is one you missed..."We Are The Champions"...which I think is the only other song featuring Hayley. You can also find that on youtube. Cheers Jono

Dave
Thanks so much for all the hard work uploading the videos. They are brilliant!
Hope Russell gets his skates on! We should be seeing him tomorrow at Kenwood House - surely he won't bring Hayley with him, will he?

i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif I have 3 hours of taping to do tomorrow and hopefully I then don't have to download Dave's videos. But I do appreciate the hard work that Dave has put in to get these videos to the forum members.

Thanks for the superb videos, Dave! I had to move to my alternative Internet Café to download the Xvid codec, but it was well worth the extra pound. Hayley was magnificent and she was clearly enjoying performing to the world. Now I'm really looking forward to the rest of your videos. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifBest Wishes, Richard

Hi Dave Thanks for the videos, They just "MADE MY DAY" I'm not normally given to coments about Hayley's fashion , But she makes that dress look gorgeous. What great publicity for Hayley, well done to the organisers. Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Such a difference in Hayley and Russell since the Aukland (I Think ) outdoor concert just a few short years ago. Hayley the slip of a girl is gone, replaced by a very confident and beautiful young woman. A truly International star for the whole world to see , shining brightly..

Such a difference in Hayley and Russell since the Aukland (I Think ) outdoor concert just a few short years ago. Yep correct. Outdoors at the Auckland Domain. They hold Xmas concerts and Starlight Symphony's there yearly too. Did anyone from NZ watch the news at 6pm today? Did the opening ceremony feature on there at all? I watched the news after work, but nothing.. Is anyone else eagerly waiting for Dave to sign on??

Hi everyone, Sorry for those who cannot play the videos - Libby it may be because your computer cannot handle the near-high definition content, I will make standard sized .wmv versions available in a day or two but of course, they are all over YouTube anyway. Everyone should be able to handle xvid, it's a Worldwide standard and should come built in to every Windows system (but it isn't always) and it's certainly a lot more widespread than the slightly more efficient h.264 which I've used before. The XVID codec can be obtained and installed in moments from the main page of the official site www.xvid.orgI know there are plenty of versions of these on the Internet, it was broadcast "live" in some Countries mainly in the Far East and dealing with standard TV files is easy and quick... sooo I'm considering uploading the remaining files as High Definition (here and YouTube) and I may replace the existing high quality files by true HD files (although at 960 genuine pixels they arguably HD already, wider than standard definition in NTSC and PAL including DVD). There are already so many versions on YT that doing them in HD is the only thing that would set ours apart. Any views on that? Cheers, Dave
