For ease of viewing, here are the photos. Was this a chance encounter? How very lucky!! I must say that if Hayley wasn't there on official duty she looks very glamorous for just a stroll through the shops! That lucky person mentioned that the hotel Hayley resided during her staying in Kaohsiung is Grand Hi-Lai Hotel and the Department Store she went shopping is in the same lofty building where the hotel is.....how very convenient!! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifFunny thing is that Hayley was "discovered" because she was at that moment staring at "her poster" (don't know for which album), a clerk recognized her and then told another one: hey, the girl on that poster just passing by.......You can then imagine what happened aftrewards... Oh, they said that RW also showed up the day before.... www.grand-hilai.com.tw/english/about.htm .... welcome to Kaohsiung

I found some Hayley's photos taken by a salesperson of the music shop located in KAOHSHUNG HANSHIN DEPARTMENT STORE. www.mobile01.com/topicdetail.php?f=217&t=1151473&p=1. Click on the blue-colored links in the first 2 posts to see the photos The thread was posted on 7/21 and has 10 pages of replys already. Comments on Hayley are all saying that she's pretty, down-to-erarth, angelic voice...... I wish I were the salesperson!!! Thanks for the photos Immerso and welcome to the Forum. It looks like Hayley is having a great time. Bill

To our members in Taiwan. You may like to see a new thread on the Concert Board. Hayley is coming your way! Roger Hello Roger and everyone, You may be interested to know that last year, our YouTube videos received 5 to 10 views a day from Taiwan. Gradually this year that has increased to between 10 and 40 a day... perhaps because of advance publicity about the World Games. On the 16th, 17th and 18th July (the first three days of the games) there were over 1,000 views each day from Taiwan and it is still running at nearly 500 a day. This enabled us to nearly double our previous highest number of views, Worldwide (in the 18 months we've been on YT).. I see that some of the other World Games videos on YT featuring Hayley have already had several thousand views each in total and all the comments seem to be positive. Hayley's appearance there has clearly been a huge success and I hope it will translate into many extra CD and concert sales in the Far East. And perhaps a few more members for our forum from Taiwan, too! It looks like we have also had our highest daily number of YT views from The Phillipines... and New Zealand! Dave

Thanks Roger. The tickets sold out already. Hello Hayleyfan88, I remember you (or another Taiwan member) mentioned that the tickets sold out on the day after the World Games concert, that must be the first time it's happened before a concert has officially been announced! Perhaps it should be moved from Taipei to the World Games stadium in Kaohsiung? Or a large stadium in Taipei! Cheers, Dave

I read some of the TW comments, now they wish that Hayley can releases a special album "Hayley Sings Chinese or Taiwanese Songs" in TW. The coming concert in TW, they wish that Hayley could sing "The Moon Represents My Heart" again especially on the Moon Festival Day. (Oct. 03, 09)

Hi! Dave,
There're lots of TW fans wish had known Hayley earlier so they won't lose the chance to join her concert.
Dave wrote "Perhaps it should be moved from Taipei to the World Games stadium in Kaohsiung? Or a large stadium in Taipei! "
That's a good idea, they should move to Taipei Arena, which is better than The National Theatre Concert Hall.

Hi! Dave, That's a good idea, they should move to Taipei Arena, which is better than The National Theatre Concert Hall. I personally prefer the National Theatre Concert Hall than Taipei Arena. I went to Sarah Brightman's concert in Taipei Arena earlier this year, and I found that the sound effect there wan't very good, which I've heard people complaining long time before. Since the National Theatre Concert Hall is smaller than Taipei Arena, it makes me feel closer to Hayley But I do wish they can hold another concert for fans who miss their tickets though.

Yeah the size of large arenas make the acoustics in some of them really, really bad. Pretty much everyone who's ever sung at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) in Australia have sounded less than ordinary. Not sure if it's simply bad speaker positioning causing the sound to echo and bounce around the grandstands or not.

Hi everyone, I thought that I'd share this photo which our new member blueleslie posted on fickr I think it must be for a dress rehearsal or something similar, as Hayley's hair is different here and Shin is wearing a different suit. By the way, goodness me Shin must be tall!!! I suppose it didn't show as much in the video because Hayley was wearing those huge heels, but here he's towering over her! Perhaps this is why Hayley needed such high shoes! Blueleslie, where did you find this photo?

I found it on an online version of a local newspaper and made some adjustment (cutting out some backgroung). According to the news, Hayley admired that Shin has a special vioce.
They exchanged personal contact info, and Hayley said that she hope they can duet again some day.
