Hello my name is Victor Tolnai (18 years old) and I'm from Kiruna, Sweden (about as high up you can get within our borders).
I just love Hayley's voice and choice of music. Discovered her some weeks ago, I'm really glad i did! She have made me listen to a whole new type (for me) of music, was only listening to metal before, and I'm not the type who just change my music habits (or any habits) just like that. Just been rock and metal in my stereo since I was 6 years old! But now its often Hayley´s voice that you can hear from my speakers. Getting goosebumps every time I listen to her.
I also play guitar and she have inspired me to start playing classic, but she also have inspired me to be a better human, she always have a smile on here face, have both feets on earth and seems to be so optimistic and generous, also fights for the environment. And I'm really impressed by here work at UNICEF and WEN.
I really look up to her, she is a superb role model, mine biggest nowadays actually. More people should have her as one.
Yea, she have done a big impression in my life.
Best regards Victor - from cold Sweden.
PS. Do anyone know if she is coming to Sweden on tour or something? Would really like to see/hear her live.

Hi Victor, I think we all know how you feel if you have found your way here ! You have followed a similar path to most of us when we 'discovered' Hayley. I don't think a tour close to you is planned We are lucky in the UK. Also Japan and New Zealand are doing well now. Look forward to your future posts,; you never know what lies ahead. Best Wishes, Graham

Hej Victor,
Wilkommen! I have a special regard for Kiruna because I used to live there back in the early 1970s, long before you were born. I was writing software for an Iron Ore transportation project for LKAB. It's a long way north I know, but a beautiful place. I enjoyred my time there, something like a year and a half all told in several visits.
I hear that they are going to have to move the town because of subsidence caused by the mining.
I hope to go back there one day.
Meanwhile, enjoy this site. There is everything you could want to know about Hayley here. It might be hard for you to ever get to see Hayley live living where you do, but I can tell you it is an awesome experience. She is an example to us all, even me, ancient as I am.
Martin

Hello Victor and welcome to the forum from Central England - I hope you enjoy your time with us and enjoy finding your way around. There is an awful lot of information and hundreds of photos and video's here, so finding ones way around can be difficult at first so don't be afraid to ask for help. We're a friendly bunch and always ready to help another Hayley fan. As has already been said, you may have to wait a very long time to see Hayley live where you live, so you may consider a visit to the UK - it will be well worth the effort! Until that time comes, many on the forum who have yet to see Hayley in person, consider the coverage of events here to be the next best thing, so enjoy! Best wishes Grant

Hi Victor. Welcome. Absolutely delighted with your post which sums up the Hayley wow experience very well indeed. I think I empathise with all that you say. There is something about her that makes you want to be good enough to take up her time and have her attention. Just to be part of that which surrounds her, her other fans, is also itself an uplift on the day. You will find a lovely group of people here, some of whom, as the occasion deserves, open up their hearts to us as you have done and share their experiences and insights. Very welcome and good luck with all things Hayley in which you involve yourself. Peter S.

Thank you all for the warm welcome! Hi Martind, The world really is a small place! Yes that is correct, a big part of the town is about to be moved some kilometers away because of the cracks who is spreading towards the town. To bad that Hayley haven't got any plans on coming here to Sweden. I read somewhere that she was here 2005 i think, and as some others here at the forum, I'm a bit irritated that I didn't Discovered here earlier! Guess I´ll have to visit GB someday then But I will for sure in a distance future go to NZ to see her and the country, that have been a big dream of my for a long time. Yes P.S. it really is something special with Hayley's way of being. And thank you all again for your warm welcome!

Richard,
You probably don't realise how far Kiruna is. Stockholm is a very long way as is Gothenburg. In fact Malmo, in southern Sweden where I also lived for a while, is nearer to Rome than it is to Kiruna!
In fact Kiruna is one of the biggest towns in the world. You have to drive for about 100Kn from the centre before you come to the city limits. Some American stated are smaller!
Victor, I hear there might have been a good display of Northern Lights last weekend (no, not you NL).
