Hello everybody! I must thank Jonathan from Hayley's official forum for pointing out that we have the opportunity to vote for Hayley's video of "Pokarekare Ana" in this month's Classic FM TV's Most Wanted Video poll. There isn't a voting form as such, but you can click on the following link and scroll down on the right hand side of the page to read the full details:- www.classicfm.com/tv/index.cfm?nodeId=66&loadSubNodeId=5264&sw=1024The essential information is as follows:- Most Wanted: January 2006
Hayley Westenra 'Pokarekare Ana' text: 'CLASSIC xxxx phone: 0901 114xxxx(Text and phone votes cost 25 pence per minute (mobile phone operators may vary))I think we can run to that sort of money for Hayley! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifBest Wishes, Richard

Hi Lothar,
I'm not sure about that as the number quoted is not a standard UK 5-digit dialing code but this may be worth a try. If it works, the same should apply from anywhere in the world:
Dial the international access code from your own country followed by 44 (the country code for the UK), then the number given but omit the first zero, ie. +44 (0)901 114 6405.
Let us know if it works!
Roger

Hello again everybody! I've realised overnight that this is a poll to find the single Most Wanted video, rather than a chart, so I've slightly altered the title of this thread. Best Wishes from London, Richard

Hayley is a contender for Classic FM TV's "Most Wanted" video this month (May 2006), with "The Water is Wide". The way they work is to show a 30 second clip from five dozen contenders, with the phone number to vote for or text for your favourite. At the end of the month, the winner is announced and will be played in full for the following month as the "Most Wanted Winner". So if we who can vote (UK people) all get voting, Hayley will get a boost in June. The competition is tough this month so UK folks, get voting! 1) Vittorio Grigolo - 'Bedshaped' 2) Shân Cothi - 'Caro Mio Ben' 3) U-Carmen Ekhayelitsha - 'Gypsy Dance' 4) Hayley Westenra - 'The Water is Wide' text: 'CLASSIC 4' to 84211 phone: 0901 114 6404 5) Andrea Bocelli 'Because we Believe' Incidentally, I understand that Classic FM TV have already started to play some of the videos in full anyway, without waiting for the result - but winning it gets added publicity. (Text and phone votes cost 25 pence per minute (mobile phone operators may vary)) Cheers, Dave

I think Hayley won't mind if the winner is Bocelli. I personally like the song 'Because we believe' very much. Anyway, vote No. 4 now! Raymond

Hi all, I've Voted for me and Lothar, just in case he can not vote from Germany!! Steve H But did you ring in from a different telephone number each time? Which raises an interesting point. If people do ring in on these things from their office, it may well count as the same number but does the software recognise the number is a business and therefore legitimately may have several different people calling in? Peter
Edit: I repaired the closing quote tag. Richard

Edit: I repaired the closing quote tag. Richard Hi Peter, I don't think the radio (or TV) stations using this voting method care! They want to generate revenue and at 25p a call, it soon adds up. You can almost always vote an unlimited number of times in this type of poll and if restrictions were in place, they would have to tell you clearly at the outset, or before you placed any subsequent calls to the premium rate numbers. Otherwise, they would be open to accusations of misrepresentation and taking money under false pretences. Cheers, Dave
