Wicked in Melbourne

The show has been on there since July 2008 but it wasn't quite clear when Sydney's turn would come. Hence the decision to make the trip.

The whole performance was just UTTERLY BREATHTAKINGLY BRILLIANT.
We had a lovely surprise afterwards & collected a few very enthusiastically given signatures.
Here's the first. Lucy is as lovely as she looks.

Hi Graeme,

You have no idea how jealous I am right now! I have seen quite a lot of videos of Lucy and she seems to be adorable. I'm guessing that she's hilarious during "Popular".

How was Patrice as Elphaba? I may be wrong but I believe she's only the understudy (after Amanda and Jemma).

Hope you liked the show - it's a great musical.

Hi Stephany.....Yes Lucy was incredible with all the subleties that go with the Glinda role....delightful, spellbinding....the words sound weak. She had incredible presence & a lovely voice too...

You say "only the understudy" for Patrice. The word "only" does not describe her at all. She was a perfect foil for Glinda.....a great star !!!!!

A wonderful pair....we felt greatly privileged to be in the theatre at all, let alone in the front row almost at reach out distance.
